Gamepad missing buttons
I am trying to use a Guillemot gamepad with PES6 but the buttons are not recognized.
In kubuntu system settings I can see my pad, callibrate the joysticks and see the buttons are recognized, but not inside wine (only the joysticks are recognized).
I have tried different combinations for the DirectInput entry in the registry but either I have not stumbled upon the correct one or there is another

no ForceFeedback in Wine
Hey Guys,
The ForceFeedback from my Microsoft Sidewinder ForceFeedback Wheel doesn't work with Wine.
I compiled wine myself and "ac_cv_member_struct_ff_effect_direction=yes" was set in the config.log like it is told here:
http://wiki.winehq.org/ForceFeedback
I also checked that FF is working with BZFlag under Linux. When i play BZFlag with Wine, the FF-Effects are missing.

Anyone having his USB Joystick working in wine?
Hi everyone,
I am running X-Plane under wine, but the joystick input is ignored.
Is there anything special I need to do in the wine setup to have the
joystick recognized.
My joystick is a USB Logitech Wingman Extreme 3D, and it
works normally under other Linux applications.

USB-joystick not detected
Hi,
I am using a CH Flightstick gameport-stick converted by a gameport-usb converter
(Rockfire). This works well under OpenSUSE Linux 10.1, ie. with FlightGear.
When I try to use this joystick with Wine wine-0.9.24 it is not detected with
two running (with keyboard) sims: Fly!II and A320 Simulator.
I also set a link # ln -s /dev/input/js0 /dev/js0 as suggested in other posts.
Here is my debug

usb interface support
Dear wine user group
I removed the whole installation under the root path and reinstalled the application to the user directory -thanks to mr. vitamin.
But the effect is the same - the usb interface has not be enabled although the driver works correctly, see
jstest /dev/input/js0 ->
Driver version is 2.1.0.
Joystick (IPACS Ikarus Gamecommander) has 7 axes (X, Y, Z, Rx, Ry, Rz, Throttle)

Only one joystick of two activated
Hi,
I am always using the newest Wine snapshot on OpenSUSE 10.3 x86_64.
My two USB-joysticks (js0, js1) - which are pedals and joystick - work without problems with all native Linux simulations like FlightGear, Torcs, etc.
It is a big pity that with Wine only the first joystick is activated, no matter which order I use, because with Wine all my old Windows simulations work without problems.

Joystick Axis not working
My Joystick, a Logitech Extreme 3D, works natively in Linux. It's mapped to /dev/input/js0
All the buttons on the joystick work in wine, but the Joystick's Axis', HAT switch and throttle do not work in wine. Specifically, I'm trying to play Xwing Alliance. I'm running Gentoo Linux, 2.6.25.4 kernel, wine 1.0 rc3
Any help getting my joystick's axis', hat switch,

Gamepad & Wine 1.0.1-2 on Debian Sid
Hi, I need you help.
I've been reading and searching on Google for a while know to try to get my gamepad (joystick, whatever) to work. Of course that the gamepad works fine under GNU/linux natives apps, like ZNES.
First of all, is not a gamepad or joystick actually, it's an adaptor that lets me connect 2 PSII joysticks in one USB port.
The module I'm using is joydev, and I'm

Disabling a gamepad in wine
Is there a way to disable a gamepad within wine? When running a dinput application with "WINEDEBUG=+dinput" it seems that wine is using the "Wine Linux-input joystick driver" to find my gamepad as /dev/input/event7, and then later it appears that the "Wine Linux joystick driver" is finding my gamepad as /dev/input/js0, making my actions doubled in dinput

Logitech WingMan Cordless Gamepad
Hi,
I have a problem with this particular gamepad. I calibrated it under linux with jscal and it is working OK. But now I want to play FIFA with it and fifa don't detect it as Logitech WingMan Cordless Gamepad but as controler.
I found wine registry tips and followed their guide for DirectInput but I have a problem because command specified there doesn't give the expected output:

dinput_test works but WINEDEBUG shows no joystick for game?
This is a continuation/evolution of what I've been trying to do, get some response from my controller(s) in Guitar Hero 3. I compiled wine (with some help :) and manually copied the dinput_test.exe.so file into my /usr/lib32/wine directory and made it's permissions match the other exe.so files (644). I then run the test to see if dinput is seeing/reacting to my controller, and it seems

Joystick axis mapping issue (wine/linux)
Good day to you wine users
I've following problem, I've a cheap joystick which is recognized
as DragonRise Inc. - however many of them are I guess.
It's some china stuff which is each time labeled different but almost
always the same device (or so I've heard).
Everything works great except the joystick is recognized as being 7 axis
one - I really dont know why it does this.

One application that I would like to see work.
http://www.chproducts.com/retail/tech_control_manager.html
The above is the last road block for me, into round filing my Win2k
partition.
Unfortunately, the way the joystick system works in Linux, I don't think
this is even a possibility.
I need the above applications ability to map joystick switches to
keystrokes and the ability to combine axises with mathematical functions.

Joypad emulated for more than one player
i suspect my USB Joypad controller is controlling more than one player or in some cases (acting or having more than one instance active), acting like at least another 2 controllers connected at the same time, games like Guilty Gear Isuka/XX #Reloaded can configure the number of players/controllers for being used, while i configure the game for use only port 1 for joypad, in the case of Guilty
