Help building OPUS library using FIXED_POINT option
Hi, We are rebasing our audio compression subsystem using OPUS rather than SPEEX. The platform is Android but this piece is written in C code: we need to support armv5/armv7/x86 architectures.... and we use the released opus-1.1beta package from here<http://downloads.xiph.org/releases/opus/opus-1.1-beta.tar.gz>. A lot of our OPUS build system + code to drive the audio compression has been

Playing new Star Wars MMO on MacOS 10.6
Hi, Wine looks like a great way to be able to play games that were only released on Windows... Is anyone currently using it to play the new star wars MMO? If so, can you share with me how is it working for you? I have a older 24" iMac (which is intel based - 2007) and based on what I am reading on the game site as well as here I think Wine would work (provided that the game is supported).

How do design next-gen modules, any guidelines ? a question for gurus...
Hi, My dilemma is how should I write my module to be "next-gen" ? Not from a code point of view but from a design/layout point of view. We wrote our modules for 2.6.x like every beginner would have done: write everything in init.pp. But now, the fashion is to use parameterized classes and Hiera which we will use with puppet 2.7.x. I mainly followed/watched what Example42 was doing.

using asterisk as a mgcp <-> h.323 translator
Hi, I havn't actually tried this yet, but would it be possible to use asterisk as a mgcp <-> h.323 translator? For example, I have mgcp service from Next Gen telephone company. But i only have a h.323 phone. Would there be a way to the mgcp signalling to hit asterisk, and then have it fire the call out h.323? And vice versa? Just brainstorming. Sean Watkins

Compiling legacy LSI megaraid drivers (Linux 2.6.11) with xen 2.0.7?
Hi all, I''ve been using Xen for a while and I am trying to install it onto a Dell Poweredge 2950. The 2850 uses a PERC4/Di raid on motherboard, which requires the LSI Legacy SCSI Raid driver to be compiled into the 2.6.11-xen0 kernel. I''ve been recompiling the kernel by: 1. Go into the linux-2.6.11-xen0 directory. Select the driver using "make ARCH=xen

Re-inventing the Wheel (again?)
I''m new to puppet and working my way through the documentation. I''m struggling with the puppet labs module repo. I''ve toyed with numerous automation and configuration methodologies over the decades. Perhaps I''m seeing puppet wrong, Compared with CFEngine there is a a lot I like, but I''m not sure why I''m still having to re-invent the

[PATCH] Btrfs: add "nocompress" mount option
In btrfs if we mount with "compress" we have no way to disable compressing by remounting (mount -o remount /mnt/btrfs), only by unmounting and mounting without "compress". This patch adds "nocompress" mount option which can be used to remount the filesystem without compression: # mount -o remount, nocompress /mnt/btrfs This option is usefull in cases when we have a
