Mouse cursor problems in Windows DomU after installing ATI-driver fglrx to X11
Hallo,
I run Xen 3.0.4.1 on Ubuntu 6.06 with Gnome desktop. I can start
Windows as DomU without problems, everything works fine (w2k server32 bit or
w2k3 server 64 bit).
Because I use the notebook HP nx9420 which has a wide screen, I
installed into X11 the driver fglrx which supports the given resolution mode
1680x1050.
Now, with the new driver The Gnome

WeatherScope Focus/Mouse Issues
Hey all,
I've been working on getting WeatherScope running under wine. (Freely
available at:
http://sdg.ocs.ou.edu/builds/final/win/WeatherScope/WeatherScope-1.3.exe)
It's becoming quite usable, but there are a few remaining issues I'd
like to try and shake out.
1)Mouse Interaction
There is an issue with how the program handles the mouse under wine that
makes using a program a bit

odd problem with mouse-button-1
Hi,
I'm using a program (Vensim-PLE from Ventana) that has a graphics work area
and some menus on some task bars. I'm running:
$ wine --version
Wine 20040615
And the latest version of the Windows program on a reasonably recent Linux
kernel (2.4.12-15).
My problem is when I try to use mouse-button-1 to select an item in the
graphics window, I get this WINPOS_GetWinOffset error and

Disappearing mouse on CentOS 4.1
For the second time in two days, my mouse just "disappeared" from my
desktop system running CentOS 4.1 (yes, I'm using CentOS as a
workstation). At the time, I was trying to open the main Gnome menu
from the panel, and I think my hand slipped before I released the mouse
button. I tried accessing an alternate console (Ctrl-Alt-1) and then
coming back to the X11 desktop

[ANNOUNCE] twm 1.0.4
Adam Jackson (1):
twm 1.0.4
Alan Coopersmith (2):
Explicitly require libSM & libICE since twm calls them directly
Change twm_CFLAGS to AM_CFLAGS to make automake-1.10 happier
James Cloos (3):
Rename .cvsignore to .gitignore
Add *~ to .gitignore to skip patch/emacs droppings
Replace static ChangeLog with dist-hook to generate from git log

Mouse problems in Dungeons and Dragons Online (DDO)
Since version 1.3.20, and in versions since, mouse movement has been erratic in Dungeons and Dragons Online.
I was waiting for some of the major mouse bugs to be fixed before commenting and that seems to have occurred, so I thought I would chime in.
About my system: MacBook Pro 2 GHz Core Duo, with ATI X1600 graphics, Mac OS X 10.6.8, Xquartz 2.6.2 (xorg-server 1.10.1), installed wine via

Weird mouse behaviour (after upgrade to CentOS 6.4?)
Hi.
For a few days now I've had some pretty annoying mouse-related problems
on my CentOS setup. I'm not sure if I get "false" mouse events or what
it is, but quite frequently I find that the system has somehow got into
a state where mouse clicks are not properly received - although I can
move the pointer all right, and they keyboard also works just fine. The

Timer problem, Wenlin2 and Wine (was Re: mouse problem with 'standard' Windows program)
Dear all,
I have informed WenLin2's (a Chinese language training and character
recognition program) author of the mouse button detection problem and
he will endeavour to try to change WenLin2 to be more compatible with
WINE.
I am afraid I have found another problem running WenLin2 with WINE.

Wireless mouse problem
Hello all,
Just for kicks I plugged in a Microsoft wireless optical desktop 1000
keyboard/mouse combo into my Centos 4.5 machine. It recognized it on
boot and configured it and it mostly works good. The issue is with the
mouse, when I hold it over a folder on my desktop for a second or so it
grabs the folder and opens a small menu as if I was using my middle
button on my Logitech. All this

WINE 1.3.14 and mouse
I was wondering about those mouse issues...
> Having other weird mouse issues? Try downgrading to wine 1.3.14. 1.3.15 and up introduced a complete overhaul of certain mouse handling code and screwed up more than a few things.

Zangbandtk under wine - Mouse and Saving issues
Hi, I'm afraid this is largely a reproduction of the post I had on the ubuntu forums but I thought I might be able to get a bit more help with the wine errors here. :)
I've been trying to play with the old binary I had from my windows installation of zangbandtk (version 240r5.) It runs almost perfectly but I've encountered two issues:

Domain0 mouse acts weird
Hi, I am having a strange issue with xen on Debian Lenny x86_64. Whenever i
start a domU, the mouse pointer in dom0 starts flying all over the screen,
and clicks randomly.
This happens whether I start a domain with or without VNC and/or SDL
enabled/disabled. The domain I am starting is a Debian Lenny x86_64 install
cd, using hvm.
I also get these errors in dmesg: "psmouse.c: resync failed,

Loosing mouse pointer on centos 4.1
I have a dell inspiron 8200 laptop . Install went fine.
After booting and using my laptop for a while my mouse pointer
just disappears.
Any ideas?
Any way to restart my mouse pointer?
I tried doing CTL-ALT+F1
and ALT_F7 thinking that would reinitialize the mouse but no.
Only thing that works is reboot.
THanks,
Jerry
