Hello, I'm using Linux for about two months now. Even before switching to Linux I have heard of Wine. I got my system running relativelly stable (I use Slackware 10.2, kernel-2.6.14 and KDE 3.4), but still have some issues - sound being one of them. But that's my problem. Hi, I'm running a samba server version 2.2.3a compiled from source. The server has been up running now since august. Now, I've suddenly been hit by a vierd bug. Several files that were opened by NT clients has been corupted. How? THE samba logs has been written into the files!! Obviusly this is a major problem. Has anyone suffered this problem ? Help! I hosed my system and did a restore from a backup but when I boot, I get an error no inittab file found. Where can I get a 5.2, 'stock' inittab file not in a rpm so I can use a rescue disk to create this file? Or if possible, could someone please post their's for me? TIA
