What on earth has happened to spore. It used to work fine with wine 1.1.12, no real problems. Picked it up today to have a game and nothing, it tries to load and don't even get to the front screen. I have wine 1.1.16 and have downgraded to 1.1.13 with no joy. I have Nvidia graphics driver 177, downgraded to 173 and no joy. That is a shame, I did enjoy that game and now it's not working.

hey, Sometimes there're Workarounds like "you'll need this dlls and this Wine Version". How can I use an older Version (0.9.58) without deinstalling the new? I tried it with PlayOnLinux, but there new problems appeared. greetz

Hi, I guess I should open a bug in bugzilla. Some questions: I installed 1.1.10 and 1.1.11 through PlayOnLinux. Does this make a difference for the bug reporting? I have the output from the terminal (backtrace below). What could I do to provide more useful information? I have installed EAC. It starts, looks correct but when the cursor moves over the EAC window it disappears and I can't reach any controls. The window is possible to move around but no access to the program. When I close the program I have to force it to finish. I'm running Fedora 10.
