Hi, I enabled dir_index on a filesystem and dumpe2fs -h also reports this. My understanding is that this will be used for newly created directories and that old directories can be indexed using "fsck.ext2 -D". Two questions: - Is there a way to tell is a given directory is indexed or not? - Is there a better way to index the root fs than to boot off a live CD? Best, Norbert

Hi all, after reading some posts here about the mouse escape bug I forced the MouseWarpOverride option in the registry. Now the problem is that the mouse moves back to the center of the screen whatever I do. As I read in another post this is a different bug and to solve it I had to put MouseWarpOverride on disable. I am new to wine (using 1.1.27) and linux (using ubuntu 9.04). I did a search on the forum for a mouse problem involving the speed at which I move the mouse. While playing oblivion, if i move the mouse too fast it will stop as if reaching the edge of the screen even though the mouse is actually several inches from the edge of the screen.
