compiling windows C++ code base using winelib
Hi,
My application holds few windows exe's developed using .lib libraries. This application which got developed using VC++ is working fine when executed using wine.I want to compile the same source using winelibraries in linux. How can I include c++ header files? I can see only windows and msvcrt header files under wine?
Any help would be appreciated on this C++ header stuff for wine.

This is completely inexplicable to me.
I has been using Wine for some time, but then I rebooted into Windows
for approximately 2 weeks.
At this point I decided to give Fedora another try.
However, Wine is being completely retarded!
Essentially, any executable that I run (ones that DEFINITLEY worked
before) only shows part of the GUI, or none of it. Even winecfg is
being retarded. I get windows

Problems with wine & Crossover Pro after upgrading to Kubunt
I have not found any other comments on any of the usual forums, so it may be just a problem with my system.
The newer, "QT" versions of DVDFAB no longer work with either wine or cxoffice on my kubuntu system after upgradinging to Kubuntu 11.04 .
The pre- QT versions of DVDFAB still work and if I install the DVDFAB-QT versions on a kubuntu/ubuntu 10.10 system running in a Virtualbox,

Am using wine-1.1.17 version compiled for 64 bit linux to run 64bit windows applications.
When my application tries to open any RegistryKey's, I find always the INVALID_HANDLE for open_keys.Is there any specific configuration required either thru winetricks or any form to access the registry keys?
Thanks,

Eaton Powerware 5110 - some stats not reported
The meter map is basically a bitmap that indicates what variables are output (and in what format) by the UPS. You will likely see a variable, 'not mapped' or nothing. The variables and 'not mapped' items are output by the UPS in the measurement block, and the map tells nut how to read it. 'Unmapped' means that there is a variable there that nut is ignoring, and the xcp

Debian Squeeze / Powerware 9135 450KVA UPS
Hi All,
I'm a system administrator of a large data center, and I've recently
replaced the machine that acted as the nut master for our
cluster/cloud. The machine that was interfacing with our Powerware
9135 450KVA 3 phase UPS, not to confused with Eaton's Powerware 9135,
and was a Fedora Core 4 box running nut version 2.0.3-4 connected by a
serial cable.
We are using these versions

Powerware 9120 / bcmxcp losing communication
Hi all,
I just acquired a new UPS and have been trying to get it to work with NUT. It's an Eaton/Powerware 9120 700i with both USB and RS-232 interfaces.
I first tried the USB interface (using bcmxcp_usb) and found that the UPS worked fine for a few minutes but then NUT lost communication and didn't get it back. In addition the UPS itself seemed to lock up at one point such that the

Samba 2.2.6 leaks file descriptions!
Hi
My server has ran out of file descriptors(FDs) a few times since 2.2.5 up to 2.2.6.
When looked into the problem I found a lot of smbd processes that had hundreds of open FDs.
I am on RH 7.2.
Any ideas?
I have compiled the sources form SAMBA_2_2 CVS branch from yesterday.
usally I just specify the --prefix= parameter to configure before I do make clean;make; make install

R-Help
Hi - I am not familiar with R. Could I ask you a quick question?
When I read a file like this, I get an error. Not sure what I am doing
wrong. I use a MAC. How do I specify a full path name for a file in R? Or
do files have to reside locally?
