Fix for Fw: [unixODBC-support] FedoraCore4 and unixODBC __post_internal_error undefined symbol at runtime
Just in case anyone with FC4 and maybe other distros were trying to use
unixODBC-2.2.11 and wine's built in odbc32. If your app errors out when
you issue a query with an undefined symbol of __post_internal_error you
will need to use an early snapshot of the 2.2.12 unixODBC that resolves
this issue...

[Fwd: Xinetd 2.3.10 Memory Leaks]
I just submitted a PR for this (haven't even gotten the confirmation
email), but since not everyone tracks the GNATS CVS distribution, I
figured that I'd send it here as well.

Intermittent connectivity issues for JDBC / Oracle
I have been experiencing issues with an R script hanging when connecting to
an Oracle database. To help debug, I found a function here in the nabble
forum and made a small test script:
#!/usr/bin/Rscript --no-restore --no-save --no-init-file
library("RJDBC")
drv<-JDBC("oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver","/home/oracle/lib/ojdbc6.jar", "'")

new option suggestion '--backup-only'
Hi,
How about adding now option '--backup-only' that means making backups
only and don't change any destination files?
(I posted similar patch a month ago, but the patch was made for
nightly snapshot of 20020808, which was tooo old! Laugh at me...)
I want to use rsync with LVM snapshot to make incremental backups like
below:
1) Make LVM snapshot of file system and mount it.

Hi:
Suppose I have the following files on my target volume:

/Developer/[120,000 sub files and directories]
... (another 8 or so directories with lots of files and sub directories)
/usr/ [75,000 sub files and directories]
For a total of approximately 500K files and directories. On my
source, I have only a handful of items:

I am receiving an error when trying to connect to the Oracle Database using
RODBC on a 64-bit Windows Server OS. The version of R is 2.10.0-win32.exe
Is this the wrong version. Does RODBC only work with 32-bit ODBC drivers?

Oracle client on Wine
Has anybody gotten Oracle client programs to work on Wine? I'd like to study your environment to see how I could make mine work on wine.
I have sqlplus and tnsping working but any OCI or OO4O related programs for Oracle do not work currently.

Segfault on unload of chan_h323 in asterisk-1.4.25
When the support for h323plus was announced for Asterisk 1.4.25, I tried
to build this support in Asterisk. For this, I checked out the h323plus
CVS from SourceForge, which reported version 1.20.beta5, and also the
ptlib-2.4.2 source RPM from Fedora 10. I finally managed to build a
chan_h323 for Asterisk 1.4.25, which apparently loads correctly, but now
I see that I get a segfault whenever I

patch: Replace many usleep and some sleep calls with nanosleep
Description: Replace many usleep and some sleep calls with nanosleep.
usleep is stated in its manual page as removed by POSIX.
Contrary to its predecessors, nanosleep semantics is well
defined. The replacement, which is mostly in drivers, is
untested. Supplements http://bugs.debian.org/633791.
