Bluetooth headset in handsfree modewith SJPhoneorX-lite
I am able to pickup, hangup, and flash, using the buttons on the phone with all of the soft clients and both of the headsets I mentioned below. I don't believe I had to change anything on the client side, just had to get the ctp (cordless telephone profile) working in the bluetooth stack, which was a pita. I struggled with the same issue...I could use the headset, but that's not very handy

Bluetooth headset in handsfree modewith SJPhoneor X-lite
Hi, You need to have completely replaced the Microsoft driver, because it doesn't support the headset or ctp Bluetooth profiles. This gave me fits! I followed the instructions at http://www.windowsdevcenter.com/pub/a/windows/2005/07/05/bluetooth.html and it works with both a Plantronics and a Motorola Headset, and I can answer calls with idefisk, eyebeam, x-lite, and kapanga. BlueTooth Headset
Hello Forum/List, usually sound works quite well for me in WINE, but now trying to get my BlueTooth headphone to work (as opposed to the laptop's builtin speakers) I've run into a problem. My guess is it has to do with the delay occurs when a sound begins to play over these headphones, even though watching a movie in MPlayer at the same time to prevent that delay hasn't helped either.

Bluetooth headsets/phones.
Has anyone managed to use a bluetooth headset or phone with their install of Asterisk? What I had in mind was either have a headset paired with the server and use that to answer/make calls in some way, or forward the calls to my mobile via bluetooth if that's possible. -- -S

There are somes products available claiming to connect a BT headset, a cell phone and a phone land line all together. I've found some : http://www.geekzone.co.nz/content.asp?contentid=2079 http://www.clipcomm.co.kr/ The clipcomm BS-A101 sample price is : $570. It's VoIP land phone that can make/receive a voice call using your CTP cell phone or BT-enabled headset. Maybe the best system

OT: High Quality Wireless Headset for Cisco IPPhones and *
Tom - here are a few suggestions Plantronics 510SL Bluetooth - they make a bundle that comes with a Bluetooth transceiver and a handset lifter. This is nice if you have users that already have Bluetooth headsets for their mobile phones, as it allows you to sync with their office phone as well. http://www.plantronics.com/north_america/en_US/products/cat29880043/cat2 9880054/prod5460016

Best sotphne to se ith a BlueTooth Hadset, a PC and a USB dongle
Hello everyone. I recently boght a Nokia BH900 headset and USB bluetooth dongle and I'd like to use them to make calls from a sofphone. I managed to this with boxe XTen-Lite and the Zoiper - but they both see the device as a simple sound card through the BlueSoleil drivers. While this is allmost usable, the headphone seems to be kept in "transmission" mode all the time and I get

Bluetooth headsetin handsfree modewith SJPhoneorX-lite
I didn't change it. I just had a heckofa time getting it to load. Unfortunately, I neglected to document the process, since this was on my home PC and I wasn't planning on replicating it. If I can find some time, I'll see if I can recreate the process. -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of

Bluetooth discussions
IRC channel chatter says that there are some new developments with a cool presence trick that Mark has come up with for bluetooth devices. I know a bit about it, but I think the general population here would like to see some details if they're available. Mark - care to give the list a rundown on the topic? In addition, are there plans for a bluetooth channel driver? The Jabra headset is
