Mongrel and capistrano
Hello list,
I discovered mongrel just a few days ago and it already won me overlighttpd for deployment of my future project, so my honestcongratulations to author.
My question though is, how one could use capistrano with mongrel (orvice versa) to automate deployments. Since mongrel is plain HTTP anddoes not use fastcgi, will it need to be restarted after each checkouton deployment server like

CentOS 4 (RC1) and VMWare
I successfully installed CentOS 4 (RC1) on a VMWare 4.5.2 virtual
workstation last night. When creating the new virual machine, I told
the VMWare wizard that I'd be installing RHEL3. I used the VMWare
console to point the virtual CDROM drive at each of the downloaded ISO
images as needed.
The "time remaining" feedback while Anaconda ran was wildly inaccurate,

[LLVMdev] CLang issue: Weird crashes in _Unwind_resume?
I have this project that I can't see how to boil down into a cut down
illustration of the problem as it requires a large 3rd party library
(ITK www.itk.org), and the problem is actually triggered in that
library. But here is the problem: If you compile ITK and the
program, it will segfault in _Unwind_resume at the end of a class
method. If you build with GCC (4.6.1 in this case) the program

Wine release 1.0-rc1
This is release 1.0-rc1 of Wine, a free implementation of Windows on Unix.
This is the first release candidate for Wine 1.0. Please give it a

please help us look for apps that used to work, but don't now. See
http://wiki.winehq.org/PlatinumRegressionHunt for details.

xVM Ready for serious use ?
I currently have 2 x ESXi boxes that have VMs stored on a NFS/iSCSI debian lenny linux box. I had purchased a new whitebox server as an intended replacement for the linux box. I had always planned on installing opensolaris on the new hardware with this config;
2 x 640GB mirrored rpool
6 x 1TB in raidz2
This box was going to be built in parallel with the current server and I would have simply
