similar to: winetricks or not ?

Hello, I am running Ubuntu 8.04. off of an external HD. in the File Browser, Ubuntu sees the internal HD, and I can navigate to the Quicken executable. I installed wine and went into Configure it and clicked Add Application. I can see the Program Files folder, but when I go into it, all I can see is the Common Files and Internet Explorer folders. Ok, not sure why this is happening, havent updated wine or made any changes to cause this issue... Starting moaing about msvcr80.dll So i decided to un-install CNC3 and re-install... it reckons it un-installed it, but hasnt, now if i try to install it - it only gives me remove or modify... Removing again doesnt work, and neither does modifying.. How can i fix this so i can reinstall it..??

I installed QCharts on my wine app on Mandriva. Qcharts has run fine in the past when using Ubuntu. Qcharts installed but when attempting to execute the program, the wine glass begins going around in circles for about 30 seconds, Qcharts does not open and the wine glass disappears.
