Hello community, I would like to remove IE8, which commes automatically during installation, because I need missed javascript. Then I plan to install IE6. So, how to remove IE8 when I haven't it listed in "Uninstall wine software" but it is for sure somewhere here (after starting IE6 installation I get message "... newer version of IE is installed").

Hello, I read the README and the man pages and the User Guide. They only say to run ./tools/wineinstall but it can't be found anywhere on my system! I downloaded the package and used tar to extract it to my home directory (/root). I do not find "./tools" anywhere. Nothing in the documentation mentions the directory from which to install at all.

When pulling a new version of the Wine1.3 source from Git, do I need to first uninstall the current the current wine1.3 before building and installing the new version? Hi, I don't really know if it is the reason but when i tried tu run my explorer.exe with wine (without success) It removed all i had in 'Program Files' directory and added a folder 'Uninstall Information ...'. Does anyone know about it ... anyway it would be a warning. -- Omar
