Deleting empty folders
Hi Hardy, I had over 1600 folders, writing manually doveadm mailbox delete
would be a real pain. I guess I could script it but that's even more of a
pain. It would be nice if there was a command to remove empty mailboxes or
something similar.

Font display problem with Text in UML-Notes of Enterprise Architect (wine-1.1.3 in Ubuntu Hardy)
Hi,
I'm having medium success with Enterprise Architect 7.1 in wine.
While crossover-office-6.0.0 (in Ubuntu Edgy) is able to display the fonts in
the:
+ Key-Store Config dialog (where you have to enter the product keys)
+ UML diagram (class diagram) NOTES-Item
-
this does NOT work with wine-1.1.3 and also the last wine version before 1.0
in Ubuntu (different versions).
The strange thing

PxeLinux menu.c32 chaining
Hello,
many of our platforms do not have a integrated floppy, some even don''t have a floppy controller. As pxelinux still has a problem with machines without a floppy in combination with some bios versions I need to chainload a different bootstrap loader which works on the floppyless platforms. But I also need to load a BartPE and the other BS loader does not support that. So I tried to

Deleting empty folders
So, along with the problem of lots of folders ending in 1 1 1 1, I'd like
to have a strategy to delete these.
I was trying to understand if it is possible to use
http://linux.die.net/man/1/doveadm-expunge to delete empty folders, but
without also deleting messages? Is this possible and if so what is the
syntax?
Kind regards,
Samuel

Deleting empty folders
Hello Samuel,
with mdbox as Maildir no direct file operations should beperforms. For
empty mailboxes that will ever happen, the "doveadm mailbox delete"
deletes the emails, if required in the mailbox.

R (2.9.0 rc) CMD INSTALL will leave OOLOCK folder even if installation succeeded
Hi,
since a couple of days ago I see failures when using
R CMD INSTALL -l lib path-to-src/pkg.tar.gz
This occurs in automated library updating via a shell script and is caused by the
immediate preceding call to leave an 00LOCK folder
even though the package installation of that call succeeded.
This occurs at random (no obvious/systematic correlation to package name or or such) and
only for

Problems with Wine on Debian
Hello all,
I am fairly new to Linux, so I hope that the following problem is not just me being ... new to Linux.
I have been trying to install Wine on Debian (Etch 4.09 I think it is called). I first tried to use the
apt-get install Wine
command followed by the winecfg (creating the .wine folder), but when I tried to run the notepad.exe (i.e. with the command wine

Eve Premium Graphics Corruption
A picture is worth a thousand words:

The black columns are supposed to be spot lights on the ship in the middle. I haven't tried eve premium before 0.9.60, however, people claim that it didn't have this problem in 0.9.58.
Here is a link to the thread in eve online:

Hi Samuel,
you could do:

Deleting empty folders
An administrator should be able to write a small script from my first
post in this thread (to the search of empty mailboxes and the command to
delete), in order to not having to access the files.

Ubuntu users, please upgrade to Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy for Wine 0.9.60 and later
To prevent conflicts when upgrading to 8.04, older releases will no
longer be getting Wine updates. Ubuntu Hardy will be released this
Thursday, and contains many fixes that also affect Wine, such as support
for some missing libraries in the 64 bit version.
By default, Ubuntu's update manager will disable third party
repositories on upgrade, which will leave you with the Wine included in

raidz failure, trying to recover
Long story short, my cat jumped on my server at my house crashing two drives at the same time. It was a 7 drive raidz (next time ill do raidz2).
The server crashed complaining about a drive failure, so i rebooted into single user mode not realizing that two drives failed. I put in a new 500g replacement and had zfs start a replace operation which failed at about 2% because there was two broken

Wine under ubuntu hardy
Hi, just a quick question if I could...
When will there be a hardy repository for wine? Presently, I'm usingthe gutsy one and it works just fine, but I see there is a repository for each version so far, so will there be one for hardy as well?

Where is .xsession-errors
Hi
Yesterday I was using OpenOffice Impress, doing many cut/paste
operations with images, and without any notice/message/warning the
application die. Then I look for ~/.xsession-errors file to see any
signal about the problem, but I realized that ~/.xsession-errors is no
longer present.
This is a new behaviour of X.org ?
I'm running CentOS 4 and

[PATCH 1/2] daemon: If /selinux exists in the guest, bind-mount /sys/fs/selinux to there.
Commit 72afcf450a78b7e58f65b4a7aaf94d71cd25fca5 was partially
incorrect. If the guest userspace is expecting /selinux to exist,
then we should bind-mount /sys/fs/selinux from the appliance kernel
there.
