Followup: SOLVED Re: Font display problem with Text in UML-Notes of Enterprise Architect (wine-1.1.3 in Ubuntu Hardy)
Hi again, I was able to solve my problem with installation of the both native RichText Libraries. This URL pointed me to the solution: http://ubuntu-virginia.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=4614684 --> sh winetricks riched20 riched30 ==> installs and activates both RichText NATIVE Libraries --> now I can install and use EA without problem Important: The emulated Windows flavour

Ubuntu users, please upgrade to Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy for Wine 0.9.60 and later
To prevent conflicts when upgrading to 8.04, older releases will no longer be getting Wine updates. Ubuntu Hardy will be released this Thursday, and contains many fixes that also affect Wine, such as support for some missing libraries in the 64 bit version. By default, Ubuntu's update manager will disable third party repositories on upgrade, which will leave you with the Wine included in

404 error on Wine update (Ubuntu Hardy)
My automatic updates popped up with a new Wine this morning and when I told it to install it came back with : W: Failed to fetch http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt/pool/main/w/wine/wine_0.9.61~winehq0~ubuntu~8.04-1_i386.deb 404 Not Found [IP: 88.159.206.7 80] I'm not overly worried, I'm using wine 0.9.60 now and it's working fine, I was just updating because it was there. Problems when attempting to build wine from source on Ubuntu
I am trying to build Wine from source on an X64 Hardy Ubuntu system in order to do some regression testing. I am having trouble however to build the dependencies for that. I already did these a while ago, but I re-applied just in case the instructions from this page for the apt repository http://www.winehq.org/site/download-deb. I constantly get this error: xavier at Xavier:~$ sudo apt-get

Ubuntu DEB Packages for Hardy?
Hi, I'm still running Ubuntu Hardy and I will upgrade when Lucid comes out. I just wish to know when the latest DEB files will come out? Wine updates seem to have stopped at wine-1.1.39. Please support Hardy until Lucid comes out. It's still the latest LTS. Bamm

Ubuntu Hardy + Wine + WoW = corrupted graphics
Hello all, I've got a laptop w/ an "Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS, 943/940GML" graphics card (I know, Intel sucks) running Ubuntu Hardy and Wine 0.9.61~winehq0~ubuntu~8.04-1. I've had problems getting World of Warcraft to run under wine before, so when I upgraded to Hardy I thought I would try it again. At least in the past I could run WoW using the built-in d3d

wine git hardy systray issue
I'm totally stumped. I'm running Hardy Heron and wine from git (I just updated about 3 hours ago) and I'm having the systray issue where wine apps in the systray just show up as blank space and you cannot interact with the systray icon. This issue was supposedly fixed in 0.9.60 and backported into the Hardy repos, but no matter what I do I can't get it fixed. I've tried the

Installation of IE6 and Office2000 with wine 0.9.12
Hi, I used some time ago the winetools package to configure wine older than 0.9.10 with IE6 and Office 2000. Updates of wine up to 0.9.10 where also succesful, so that I was able to continue the usage of MS Office2000. But since the Desktop changes in wine 0.9.11, 0.9.12 the old installation does no more work. ## My experiements to install IE6 and Office 2000 without winetools are not yet

[LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] Do you use UML utility programs?
UML diagrams can be really helpful for explaining how a piece of code works (such as the diagrams in your klang project on github). The main reason I don't draw them is that I haven't found convenient tools to use which integrate well with my workflow. Doxygen produces class diagrams, but I would really like to have something which produces sequence diagrams (such as

[LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] Do you use UML utility programs?
Hi Sean Silva, Maybe I am the only one who is trying to use UML. In my team, I am also the only one who draws UML diagrams. I expected there be someone who use UML like me. But it's maybe not as your opinion. Maybe doxygen is enough for majority of people. Thanks for your reply. Sincerely Journeyer J. Hi Sean Silva and people on our list, >> What tools did you use to generate the diagrams for the klang documentation? I use StarUML. ( http://staruml.sourceforge.net/en/ ) I mentioned about this earlier before on this mail-list. It's a Windows only application and free software. It is good SW. But development is stopped since long ago. The product was originally a commercial one. But

Use of KDEs kprinter as printer device?
Hi, I'd like to be able to use KDEs kprinter (kprinter --stdin) as alternative printer for my wine driven apps (e.g. winword). What I like especially is the fine working PDF printer and the feature to attach the PDF immediately to an email. I tried already the cups-pdf printer. But this driver doesn't create valid PDF for my MS WORD document. KPDF and Acrobat are at least not able to

enterprise architect trial expired before started!
Hi I just installed EA 9 Trial version. I can't get running it further than splash screen. At this point EA says the evaluation period has expired! But this couldn't be true since EA was downloaded and installed today. However the screen offers 2 buttons "Continue Trial" or "Buy". If I choose "Buy" nothing happens at all. Otherwise the application will

No images in Enterprise Architect internal help
Hi. I just installed Wine (version 1.1.9 from openSUSE repo) and then installed Enterprise Architect (the "Linux" version). The installation went fine, I was asked if I wanted to allow Wine to download and install Gecko to render HTML, I did and I think it was installed ok. But when I bring up the internal help no images are displayed, only text. Instead of the image is displayed a

wine 1.1.0 and Enterprise Architect: fonts displayed upside down
hi, I use Sparx Enterprise Architect with wine 1.1.0 on Gentoo. Everything is running fine, except the fonts in the diagrams appear written upside down. Does anyone have experience with this kind of issue? Greetings, Simon
