Wine 1.1.2 Kubuntu 8.04 Hardy I am experimenting with Brother's Keeper (BK6) in Wine. Generally it runs quite well. To get it to run however I found it necessary to copy DLLs from the system32 folder into the main program folder. I know that other people using other distros have not done this. Is there a more elegant way of achieving the same result?

I'm getting "access denied" with one particular samba 4 home directory NFS share. But only with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Hi all, I've got notepad.exe to work under wine (i think it's built in). I'm trying to get wordpad.exe to work now. It's currently in ~/driveC/Program Files/Accessories. Wine says it can't find wordpad.exe. Do i need to add an explicit path for it in wine config, or should the windows registry supply the path? Is it any use copying the original windows registry to wine?
