changed windows ver to 3.1: now winecfg & regedit hang
Greetings. My problem is that using winecfg, I changed the Windows version to 3.1, and now nothing wine-related will load. Since then, every time I try to run anything wine from a launcher, nothing seems to happen (though ps -e shows the process running), and when I try

Adega: A minimal WINE frontend written in bash
I started this project for my own use but it has grown into something that I feel is pretty helpful. Compiling from source - where is winecfg?
Hey all, I've just switched distro to Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE) from LM9 Isadora. Some of you may be aware that the Wine Debian packages are extremely old (the repo the main page directs me to doesn't go above 1.1.4.2), so I compiled 1.3.4 from source, without installing. That went fine, insofar as I tested with a previously-installed app and it ran, but now I want to install a

Font rendering and winecfg in 20050725
I just upgraded to 20050725 from 200505xx on FreeBSD 5.3 and Xorg 6.8.2. The problem is that when I run a windows application I do not get ANY fonts displayed in the menus, buttons, text boxes, nothing. In the 200505xx version I set "ClientSideWithRender" = "N" and "ClientSideWithCore" = "N" in .wine/config and that fixed it. However I have no idea
