Connection between postfix and dovecot failing
Well, post fix tries, but cannot connect. Sounds to me like problem at the receiving side. In any case, one question would be: is amavis part of dovecot or of postfix? sytse -- ------------------------------------------ - Sytse Kuijk - ___ - R.S.R. n.v. - o|o - Gijzelaarsstraat 16 - \_____(.)_____/ - 2000

[LLVMdev] X86-64 / AMD64 support
Hi all, Now that 64-bit Intel Mac OS X has been publicly announced, we can finally say something about this topic. Yep, the initial support for 64-bit Intel has been completed. We are awaiting management approval before committing it to the public repository. No firm date has been set, but it should be very soon. Cheers, Evan

Bare Metal vs virtualization
Hello to all: I know this list is generally Linux-only, but I figured I'd try to gain wisdom from those with hard-core Windows needs, too. I was recently pricing out a high-end desktop system for a user who will doing a lot of CAD, Matlab, SolidWorks, and other apps that will utilize a lot of number crunching and video. The quote for the desktop (64-bit Vista is likely), which included 12

Connection between postfix and dovecot failing
Well, I tried that. I can connect a telnet session on that port and that does not refuse the connection, it sits there waiting, but I do not know the protocol so I cannot check if it does what it is supposed to. I also checked who is listening on that port, here is the dialog: sh-3.2# sudo lsof -i -n -P | grep 10024 perl5.18 75844 _amavisd 5u IPv4 0x866f6119e39f833d 0t0 TCP

RE: question about auto-updating div withoverflow:auto and maintaining position
You should be able to do this by changing the div''s .scrollTop value via javascript (maybe just pick a very large number to ensure bottom is hit, like 10,000). -----Original Message----- From: rails-spinoffs-bounces-1W37MKcQCpIf0INCOvqR/iCwEArCW2h5@public.gmane.org [mailto:rails-spinoffs-bounces-1W37MKcQCpIf0INCOvqR/iCwEArCW2h5@public.gmane.org] On Behalf Of Jeremy Kitchen Sent:

LLVM Social Guidelines
Hi folks, At EuroLLVM we had a round table for organizers of LLVM Socials around the globe. After the discussion we decided to get some sort of guidelines for those who want to organize the meetup in their city, but have any questions and don't know where to start. Currently, I am creating the very first draft. Once it's in a good shape I will send it to the phabricator. I am looking

forgive possible repost: alternate bzip2 library
Hi, I am resubmitting a question, mainly because I suspect I may have inadvertently cancelled it, while it was awaiting moderator approval. It's about manually compiling R-3.3.1 and using, not the standard system's (ver 1.0.5), but an alternate a bzip2 (v1.0.6) which is located in a non-standard location. I usually lean on pkg-config to deal with issues like this. I've create an

Connecting Asterisk and BT Versatility PBX via NT BRI port
Hi All, I've a BT Versatility PBX that I want to connect to my asterisk 11.9.0 box via BRI port in NT mode but actually I wasn't able to get it working. I've another standalone PBX, it's a Panasonic model, which works fine connected to the same port. The BT connected to a UK BT BRI line works quite fine after roughly a minute once connected. The PBX can be seen at

New ncurses Asterisk Manager Interface
I am currently developing a asterisk ncurses interface using the manager API. The project is currently awaiting sourceforge's approval but I have a beta online at http://sig.lange.googlepages.com/assman . The projects real home will be assman.sf.net. This project really consists of two parts, libassman is a C manager API and assman is the ncurses portion. It's still beta but I have been

How do I go about this
hello all. I have a dual boot laptop running XP and RH3. I tried to install wine but because my XP is on NTFS I could not link to that partition. So, I have burned all my personal files to CD and am wondering what to do next: 1) I suppose I could install another windows operating system like 98. Drawback is that when I do use Windows, XP tends to handle the plug and play features better (like
