status of darwine
I was trying to develop user mode windows on base of wine.
I was linking my x86 simulator with wine so that I can have a JAVA like virtual windows environment. the didderence is JVM understands jasva byte code, my virtual windows understands x86 instructions.
I knew darwine was going to do the same thing. the difference is darwine depends on qemu. I don't use qemu.
my questions: why

That's in winecfg. I copied riched2.dll and riched32.dll from my Windows partition, then set the override to (native, builtin) in winecfg on the Libraries tab. Alternatively, you could install it with winetricks:
Code:

What's in a name? - Darwine
I recently tried to submit application feedback for the Darwin port
of Wine. My feedback was rejected because Darwine is not Wine. But is
this really the case? If this port of Wine to Darwin was simply
called The Darwin Port of Wine, would it have been rejected? I don't
think it would have been. Just because the Darwin developers have
made a clever alias for this particular port, it

How do I upside down colorkey of levelplot?
Hi, all.
I made the main figure of levelplot upside down by transposing and
proper indexing; upper left corner is the biginning of matrix.
However, I can't figure out how I can upside down the vertical
colorkey right side of the main figure.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

will darwine a big threats to bill gates? or a big helper?
1) darwine helps linux with enough applications on none-x86 machines.
user can drop windows/x86 away.
it seems dar wine is a threat.
2) when linux people are used to windows applications on those machines.
microsoft claims to compile vista to those machines.
microsoft gets the world of those machines .
darwine helps microsoft without any thanks from bill gates.
what will happen next?

Cant use Darwine on PPC with 10.5 Leopard
Hi all,
ill start off by saying that I've tried reading and doing everything that was on the documentation. I'm not very code/C++ literate.
I have a Power PC Macintosh that I run Mac OSX 10.5 Leopard with.
I'm going through all this trouble to run 1 simple program, Soulseek.
I downloaded Darwine 0.9.27 DP.
When i try to run any program, soulseek, notepad/clock that came with

However, when I use the version from http://www.kronenberg.org/darwine/ it runs just fine. I have XQuartz 2.3.1 as well. This started recently, I can't remember what did it. Here is a link to the output when

How do I remove all my Wine/Darwine versions?
How do I remove all my Wine/Darwine versions (from Mac)? Should I run
"make uninstall" from the last wine-0.9.33 and then delete the
/Users/.../wine* folders?
A search for windows.h gives:
/Developer/Headers/Wine/include/wine/windows/windows.h (Darwine?)
/Users/me/Documents/downloads/wine-0.9.15/include/windows.h (Wine)
/Users/me/Documents/downloads/wine-0.9.16/include/windows.h (Wine)

Cannot configure wine/darwine
I've installed Darwine on an iMac. As per the
documentation, I have attempted to run winecfg to set
the various configs. But I cannot get it to display.
The error log says that it attempted to create a
window, but no driver found. Since I can't config, I
can't set a driver.
Any ideas?

Passing arguments from the command line to apps on Mac OS X (Darwine and CrossOver)
Hi all,
There's a Windows application I've been running (called "WinBUGS.exe") on an
intel Mac OS X (ver. 10.5.5) using both Darwine and CrossOver Pro. My
application runs fine under Darwine and also under CrossOver. However, in
spite of being able to run these applications using either platform from the
command line, I still cannot pass arguments to the application. What I want

Wine/Darwine no longer opening .exe files?
I downloaded Darwine 1.0.1 the other day, and it's been working fine until
today when I loaded it up and suddenly it didn't want to open .exe files any
more. I've tried freshly installing it with a clean version, but this one
isn't doing it either. This is the error I'm getting:
Application tried to create a window, but no driver could be loaded.

Morrowind GOTY on Darwine - empty resolution list?
I hope it's ok to ask about Darwine on these forums. I installed Morrowind GOTY on OSX using Darwine and it starts. But I can't set a resolution as the list of resolutions is empty. It recognises an NVIDIA graphics card but no resolutions. Any ideas how to get this working? Thanks

Darwine or Wine? New to Mac, Install/Uninstall/File issues.
I'm currently running Mac OS X 10.6.4 Snow Leopard.
I recently installed Darwine, and then installed a new program, Bowl Bound College Football. Even installed the patch afterwards. So far, so good.
Now my problem, is that this program creates an export file to send to a league commissioner, that they can then import. I can't find the file path in Finder, or any of the files for the

plot the y-axis upside down
Hello,
I need to create a scatterplot where the y-axis is upside down. If I have non-negative bivariate data in objects "x" and "y," then the operation
plot(x, -y)
gives me the figure I want -- a mirror image of plot(x, y) -- except that the y-values (coordinates) are negative, which I don't want. Is there a simple way to do this?
