Problem installing R on openSUSE 10.3
Dear All,
I am trying to install R 2.7 on my openSUSE 10.3. I have faithfully followed instruction at http://cran.r-project.org/bin/linux/suse/ReadMe.txt. I have downloaded all the RPMs but still R complains about:
libtcl8.4.so is needed by R-base-2.7.1-6.1.i586
I searched for this library and found a one, tcl-8.4.15-22.i586.rpm at openSUSE distribution site and installed. But R still complains

febootstrap and download packages
Something that i would like to have, is the ability to keep the
download packages in a temp directory when using febootstrap.
I understand that using ferora/archlinux (distros with a lot of
package updates every day) can increase the size of this temp
directory rapidly and at some point will have a lot of deprecate
packages.
But the daily use of febootstrap (or building libguestfs) makes your

I am not a developer (and i dont know ocaml) but i've tried to build a patch

[LLVMdev] [3.7 Release] RC1 has been tagged, Testing Phase I begins
Seems on OpenSUSE x86, it's called i586, not i686 :-(
+Alexey: do you think we can handle this in the compiler-rt cmake
files somehow? Maybe try targeting both i686 and i586 unless that
would break something else?

Odd Samba/btrfs AD member server problem
openSUSE 13.2 machine with btrfs for /
Running samba-4.1.14-3.3.x86_64.
Samba is configured to have the server act as a member server in a
Windows Activedirectory domain.
wbinfo -u and getent passwd work fine. getent passwd shows local and
domain users.
However, setfacl -n -R -m u:userX:rwx /testpath fails if userX is a
domain user, but succeeds if userX is a local user. Using different
