similar to: Using comctl32.dll legal?

Hi, I'm trying to install an app that use InstallShields to install. The process wants to upgrade comctl32.dll when using builtin one. So, I swithed to native. And using native forces me to have commctrl.dll. Wine does not provide commctrl.dll, so, am I obliged to download it or get it from a regular windows install ? Is there any way to avoid switching comctl32.dll to native ? Thanks

I notice that there are some proxy dll inside system32 eg. comctl32.dll, What is the correct procedure to override it? Is that OK that just to copy my native comctl32.dll to overwrite that dll and then run winecfg to set the override tab? And if that proxy dll was overwritten, how to restore to use built-in version? regards,

Hey, I was trying to get a few of my own programs on windows to work under wine, and while trying to get my installer to work, overrode comctl32.dll, which is a required library for winecfg to work, so now I am stuck with a bunch of programs and winecfg all not working at all. Hi! I have a problem, that DC++ client now crashes in wine. The problem is that it crashes using its own exception handler, from the wine's point of view the app is running OK. The client simply pops up a dialog box saying that it just crashed and the debug info is placed in a file called exceptioninfo.txt. Hello All, I have a fresh install of CentOS6 and enabled the testing repos. Wine version 1.3.29 The Wine 1.2.3X version was failing vbs so i upped the Wine version, FYI. I can not get an .vbs installer to run after being unpacked in an install script. I have run the cscript and wscript test.vbs and always fails in different methods.
