Hello. This thread is to help anyone having problems with using EPSXE psx emulator in WINE. EPSXE can work in WINE, only if you install directx in WINE. WINE alone does not have directx installed with it but EPSXE requires directx to function. You would need to install directx using any game which has "Install DirectX" or something similar. I'm having problems compiling and linking a simple DirectX program with Wine. The problem is: a global variable c_dfDIMouse should be declared in dinput.h and defined in library dinput. c_dfDIMouse really is declared in dinput.h, but it seems that c_dfDIMouse is not declared in library dinput. Hello! I struggle to run the Game Gun from Wine 1.0. I manged to do the following with CrossOver. Through CrossOver 7.0.0 I installed DirectX. In the same bottle I insatelled Gun. I replaced the Gun.exe with a Gun.exe for a no-cd-crack. This works fine. Is it possible to di the same with Wine 1.0? Best regards Fredrik

The installation went almost smoothly, but the installation directory it went into was C:\Program Files\My Product Name instead of the suggested default: C:\Program Files\SHReK the THiRD The demo said it requires DirectX 9c and indeed it doesn't run because it needs d3dx9_32.dll.
