voice recognition xml
Anyone here technical enough to design a voice recognition voice xml
interchange for asterisk please email me; I've been speaking with a
contact of mine that is in the voice recognition space and he is
interested in 'donating' some technical support to the Asterisk
community to assist with this project.
This can only help benefit the Asterisk Community if this comes off.

Voice Recognition
Hi all,
Does anyone know if Asterisk or any available 3rd party add-on for it
support "voice recognition" (not "speech recognition") - task of
recognizing people from their voices?
Thanks,

Voice recognition with Asterisk
What voice recognition software options are available with Asterisk? I've
seen some references to Sphinx in the lists and docs, but I can't find
details on on how to integrate with Asterisk. If anyone has had success
integrating and using voice recognition in Asterisk, I would greatly
appreciate advice and links to information.
Thanks.

Voice-Recognition / ASR / with barge in
Hi there,
I am using Asterisk 11.9 (with Sangoma-E1-Card/DAHDI) and it works fine
:-) But I am wondering if there is a solution/application which will
enable me to implement voice recognition while playing a voice file
(barge in). So that the caller hears a voice file and can interrupt it
with his voice.
Currently (on our platform) the caller has to wait for the end of the
voicefie. Then we play

Any new Voice Recognition devs?
Not open source, but free for 2 ports: Prophecy2006 by Voxeo. Supports CCXML, CallXML and VXML. Interops nicely w/ asterisk.

Bringing Vista's Speech Recognition Engine to Linux via Wine
I have RSI (hurty hands) and need software for recognition of continuous speech.
Linux has nothing workable. Dragon was bad even on Windows.
What's needed is a Linux speech engine, so that the linux crew can get making a good GUI.
So I'm trying to bring over the Vista Speech Engine. Here's my (failed) attempt: http://womblezone.blogspot.com/
I'm trying to bring it over with

Speech Recognition
Does anyone know of a speech recognition module (like say yes or no, or
numbers) I guess due to the complexity of speech recognition it might just
be found in commercial applications or am I wrong like always?

Voice recognition IVR Is it possible?
Hello list,
I was wondering if it were possible for asterisk to do a voice recognition type IVR?
Like you know how most banks and stuff do, where they ask you to say your selection or key it in?
If this is possible, how can I set this up? I'm using FreePBX 2.11 on Linux, CentOS 6.7 32-bit, asterisk version 1.8.32.3.
Thanks.

Voice recognition application - VoIP/Open Source
Hi all,
Anyone knows of any Voice Recognition applications which use VoIP?
Preferably open source.
I am basically trying to build a Voice Call Router, something to recognize a
spoken name and then transfer the caller to the right party's extension?
TIA.

TellMe Voice Recognition in Asterisk working..
A couple of weekends ago I decided to see if I could get Asterisk to
play nice with TellMe's VoiceXML studio. They provide the VoiceXML
studio for free, and you can access it through SIP, so I thought this
would be a fun and cheap way to integrate voice recognition into my
IVR. I have posted a brief tutorial with code and examples on the
voip-info.org wiki (

Voice Recognition
Has anyone out there had any success with any type of voice
recognition? I would LOVE to see something work within Asterisk. I
have tried for days and can't seem to get this right. Is it even
possible? I have read everything I can find, but it's like the sphinx
integration/documentation was dropped because of lack of interest. I
tried this with Sphinx-2 because it contained the

Voice recognition recommendations?
Hi all,
We have a project involving voice recognition, and will need a vocabulary of
10,000 words (actually names).
Can anyone recommend a product that works with Asterisk?
Thanks,

Asterisk and voice recognition
Hi all,
Yes, this might not be the proper list for this, but i have a question about Asterisk and voice recognition.
If I want to create a menu system where the user can say different things in the Swedish language what should I look at?
For example, i want the user to be able to say something simular in Swedish:
connect
disconnect

Best regards and thanks,

Anything to replace Statistical Models in S ("the white book")?
Hello:
I found that Amazon cannot find a copy of "Statistical Models in S"? I am
about to embark on some tree-based and perhaps ANOVA models and have
following options:
(*) Find another book/online doc that covers this material (perhaps one
recommended on the R FAQ page)
(*) Use R documentation
(*) Try even harder to land the white book.
I have a decent conceptual and

Where and how do I install it into my Asterisk box?
