I'm new to wine and suse 8.1. I d/l the most current wine version for suse8.1 = 200303.. and rpmed it. I was surprised that wine was not updated with Yast but only directly with rpm.-F ... I'm running RH7.2 and the latest version of wine. I'm running an app that needs to access a dongle for license verification. The application opens and the GUI comes up, however the app cannot find the dongle. Does anyone have a fix or work around for this? I've search google extensively and have not come across a solution. I run the setup.exe from the 1st cd (so I have to mount it anyway) and when the setup asks for cd2 I get stuck, because I can not remove cd1 from the drive, because it is mounted and because there's an application using it (setup.exe). Hi list, Trying to set custom paramters for a wine-program as wcmd for example doesn't work for me. I tried setting [AppDefaults\\wcmd.exe.so\\x11drv] "Desktop"= "N" and [AppDefaults\\wcmd.exe\\x11drv] "Desktop"= "N" when global is "Desktop"="640x480". wcmd is displayed on a 640x480 desktop. Is there a workaround ?

DOH! THe probelm was what I was seeing WASN'T the output of the debugger.. The debugger SEEMED to run, but what it was is that there was no font directories to search (BTW, how do we specify a xfs server?) Anyways, now that I added a font directory, the real debugger actually comes up, and shows the following... <Grumble, can't cut and paste from the wine console/debugger>
