Presumably the solution was to compile wine 1.2+ with a recent version of GCC and binutils, so that the copy protection software could hook certain functions. Hey & a good afternoon, i installed DeusEx (u.s. version 1.0)on my SuSE. It runs good in an emulated windowmod of 1024x768. I got some renderprobs of the charakters and decided to uninstall it to check out the updated version (u.s. version patched 1.2). The wine uninstaller dont worked fine with DeusEx Code: wine uninstaller so i decided to uninstall it with the DeusEx uninstaller itself.

Hi I just upgraded wine to version 0.9.25 on ubuntu dapper, and now DeusEx makes the screen/desktop go blank. I've been running DeusEx for a long time without issues. I've tried reverting back to version 0.9.24, but the blank screen happens still. I'm running all application in an emulated desktop, so no matter what, wine shouldn't turn the entire screen blank. Any ideas

Hi, I'm running a mixed linux/Windows network with authentication done using Active Directory. The Linux clients use Samba/Winbind for authentication (with help from the list, thanks!). I've setup smb.conf such that doing 'net ads join -Uadministrator' populates my /etc/krb5.keytab (see configuration files below). klist shows me a nice set of principals from /etc/krb5.keytab
