ups poweroff with cyberpower text protocol
Hi, shutting down my CyberPower OP500TE doesn't seem to work. Does anyone know if it is possible? (if not I will just change the shutdown script as suggested in the faq, but it would be nice to do the proper way). Thanks, Anton %/etc/init.d/ups-monitor poweroff Shutting down the UPS ... Bind won't start.
Dear Group, In the process of configuring bind, I created a new configuration file under /etc/named.conf options { directory "/var/named"; version "Nope."; }; zone "internal.micro.com" in { type master; file "internal.micro.com"; }; This is the definition I am using for the forward zone under /var/named/internal.micro.com

Overiding builtin DLL's for Dreamweaver
Trying to get DW to run and ran into a snag. I installed it on a Windoze machine and copied the directory over, and then copied all the dll's I could find in that directory to my system and system32 directories on the fake drive. When I go to run DW it crashes with javascript errors. Wine then core dumps. When I run this from a terminal window I see some errors pop up as it goes along.

printing fails for SPOOLSS OpenPrinterEx request
Hi, I have a problem with my printing setup of a windows XP client with a samba server. The windows driver seems to use different ways of smb/printer communication for printing in normal/duplex mode and for printing brochures. The latter failes silently. normal/duplex printing uses: SMB Open Print File Request brochure printing starts with: SPOOLSS OpenPrinterEx request I recorded the network

Remodified Asterisk brute force blockers..
Top of the morning all... So I reworked the pseudo IDS/Brute Force Asterisk script for those who want to either use it, or use it as a baseline to build a better one... The script now does a few things... It logs those with password issues, and blocks them as well. This was done to ensure that a remote user who was blocked can be found in the log. Does this tell me anything? Traffic report
I'm trying to get Samba up and running and having a terrible time. It says that I should be able to run nmap and see that 137 and 139 are open - which they are not. I have not added any restrictions in smb.conf, do not have a firewall running and I have increased the log level to 5 to see all of the messages. It says that it is talking on 137 but it kind of looks like it's not talking
