LLVM IR iteself only supports one string ty, which is an array of
i8 (8 bit integers). In your compile you can use utf-8 and any
utf8 string literal can be stored in an i8 array

[LLVMdev] Could LLVM or Clang go backward to modify c source code?
OK. Thank you.
What I want to do is: Fix source code in-place, then feed it to compiler
normally.
I assume I can fix source code in-place using clang::SourceManager, but I
cannot find the appropriate API.
Now I know that way is infeasible.
Thanks again.

Autocomplete - Destroying the object
Hi,
I''m new to all this so if this is a daft question sorry.
I''m using Ajax Autocomplete to populate a search box with likely matches.
These results need to be filtered by an option from a select box that
is alongside the search box.
As the current Autocomplete function only takes in one id to post to
the search file, i figured i could post more stuff to the
Ajax.Autocompleter

serial port problem
Hi,
I tried to run an older windows program under wine (I think it is an
older 16bit Borland C compiled binary - the icons looks have the
typically Borland look) for connecting my telephone system via a serial
connection (Auerswald ETS2106W.EXE). The program iteself starts but it
tells me every time that it gets no connection with COM2. To verify
that the serial connection is ok I a have

centos5: Kopete and ICQ broken
Hi,
Kopete does not show any contact in ICQ...
Will there be fixes for this?
Or do I have to wait for kde-redhat to support centos5?
Thx

ICQ by using Wine possible ?
Hi @ all,
I want to use wine to run ICQ2002a, because I do not like the Linux ICQ
clones. But during the beginning of the installation-process I get the
message, that i need the Setupapi.dll to install ICQ 2002a. Now I would
like to know, if it is possible to import DLLs like the Setupapi.dll
from the Windows 2000 installation of my other PC?
I hope somebody of you can help me,
Yours Lutz M.

winemulating ICQ 2001b
Anybody has runned ICQ 2001b successfully with Wine?
When I try to run it, it crashes on the startup.
Maybe the fault is in NTDLL.dll.3 which has not
implented fully yet? Or I don't have all dll's?
I'm not sure for I'm a newbie with Wine... :(
Well anyway here's the output of Wine:

Problems with ICQ etc. on nano-setup
I administer a nano-setup on a dorm-network with a couple of hundred
active users.
The setup uses 2 x 2 2Mb/s DSLs, meaning two DSLs from each of two
different ISPs.
It works fine except for some minor glitches:
https-sites often kicks users. This was solved by tying outbound https
to a single DSL. Not the best solution but it works so far that users
dont kicked from the sites anymore. Now

Colour depth reduced to 12 by bitmap devices
I am using R to create colour plots as bitmap files. I have created a
palette of 256 colours that I want to use, but the resultant output
files contain only 12 colours used in dither patterns. The result is the
same whether I use bmp() or png().
How can I get the true colours that I specified instead of dither
patterns? (making the driver's job easier!)
I am using R 1.1.0 for Windows
