Hello, I can't use Wine from version >=0.9.18 anymore. It compiles ok and then it crashes somewhere in the middle of installation, I think when Wine tries to execute something. Even when I try to run winecfg it crashes. It worked with Wine version 0.9.17 and lower. Anyone have any idea what's wrong ? I'm running Slackware 10.0. Hi all, does anybody has ran echocancellation successfully on windows ? I have a problem playing audio there. If you play a wav file no mater how I play it after comparing the captured data with the original file there is always difference in the audio length (for 18 sec of audio there is more than 250 ms of difference). Which of course breaks echocancellation. I've tried playing the audio

I noticed a distribution for 7.2 & 8.0 but not 7.3. Download and installation of the 7.2 version appears to go fine - until i give the command wine -v I do understand there is not a config file with the distribution. However when i start wine -v and take the option to setup config it fails twith a message can't find package Itcl and also says the config file does not exist.

Hi, I am using Ubuntu Linux 10.4 (64 bit). I have been trying to use a scientific program written to work on Windows XP and Vista. I can't run it on my Windows Home Premium as this does not have XP compatability mode. I therefore decided to attempt installation via Wine. I have downloaded the latest version of Wine and installed it. I used Wine to install the program with no problems.

I seem to have gotten past one hurdle and on to the next. It seems that the problem that I was having relates to poorly documented changes in the config files in the HOWTO. I now have /root/.wine/config which seems to solve the old drive problem. However, here is my new error.
