Anybody get win4lin 5.0 running on CentOs? I have a Ibm Thinkpad 600 running centos 3.3. I tried running the win4lin installer which downloaded a supported kernel and installed but when I went to reboot the laptop, the drivers for my wireless card were missing along with usb support. Has anyone been able to make the Quickbooks Delivery Agent work under Win4Lin? I find that it slows the system down to a crawl and it never completes it's task. Removing the Delivery Agent is not a great solution because Quickbooks won't perform certain functions, like writing a paycheck, without it. I'm trying to print in Linux to this Windows-only printer. I'm using LPRng. Both the printer and my windows interface (win4lin) are on the same LAN. I've added a new printer device lp5 in /etc/printcap, with an if line for the smbprint script when I send a command to that printer. A logfile reports that the server name and service name are correctly passed to the smbclient program.
