The system I am using is a clean install of Mandrake 8.0 which has the gcc version 2.96 installed. I downloaded the wine-20010510 snapshot and successfully ran the ./tools/wininstall. I am aware that wine will create a .xpm for the icon in the program file, but how would I create it after a "manual install"? I recently copied mspaint from my win partition to my wine installation and would like an icon on the user desktop link.
