wine, wineserver, and x.org using 100% of CPU
Hi, I installed Wine 20050111 on my FreeBSD 6-current (freshly updated yesterday afternoon) to play SimCity 2000. Whenever I start the program with "wine SIMCITY.EXE", the various start-up pop-ups appear, as well as the dialog asking if you want to start a new city, open an old city, etc. I get the side toolbar. The main window where you play the game is never drawn, however; it

[Fwd: Re: [Xen-users] Re: bt878 based dvr card vs. pci pass-thru]
Hi, some more info which I collected during physically accessing the machine while rebooting. I was suprised that while it was not able to do anything it was not a ''static'' kernel panic, but the following text was scrolling continously thru the screen: """ ata3: port reset, p_is 1 is e pis 1 cmd c017 tf 50 ss 113 se 0 ata3: status=0x50 { DriveReady SeekComplete }

Hi Lists, sorry for reposting this, but since no response has arrived so far and my time on this project is passing by I need to make a conclusion. Do I better use my DVR cards in dom0 or moving it to a separate physical machine rather than using them in a domU? Could someone shed light on why it is trickier to pass-thru one of these cards than any other pci devices? Do they try to read-write

[LLVMdev] Is there room for another build system?
2 more roadblocks for Visual Studio users are the inability to compile gcc and the inability to compile and run the test suite. I would not want to submit a change unless I could still compile/run gcc and pass the test suite. (Testing before submission is the way we do it where I come from - I am assuming it's the same here). On a related note, has anyone gotten the LLVM test suite working

i don't know what happened, but it just started giving me better errors. i had to set first_valid_uid=100 since that's where my users start. wow, dovecot is FAST. -brian -- "The cats tend to administer themselves, and contrary to the expected facts, the house and everything in it was installed for their benefit." -- Nic Clews

ok, one last time with mbox vs. maildir
i'd *really* like to get to maildir. so here it is, one last time.... using 0.99.x, can i have an mbox spool file and Maildir folders? for just one account? if i can do that, then it'll be a lot easier to transition the whole mess to Maildir. i use procmail called from postfix to deliver mail. is that going to be an issue for delivery? if i don't set DEFAULT and just change all
