Hello, I am running Wine 1.0 under Fedora 9 x86_64. The problem is that the two mentioned games use a lot of CPU power about 50 % on a 2 Ghz Core 2 Duo. At first I thought this is caused by GDI DirectDraw renderer, but changing to opengl did not help. Also, it is just the same when you configure Diablo to use Direct3D renderer. Does anybody has any idea where can I look for the source of this

now that i got diablo II installed fine (full install) , wine hangs when i try to start the game. i compiled wine with --disable-debug, so i recompiled it without that, but it still wouldn't give me any errors. it just sits there doing nothing short period after starting. anybody had similar problems before, or has an idea of what it happening? thx in advance, totti. -- Sent through GMX

I have installed Diablo 1 lately and found Wine can't load the game succesfully. I see a few frames of Blizzard's intro, then it freezes. With Cedega 4.0 it works pretty well> I played for a couple hours then found later I can't load my games back. Ain't that funny? It seems to be a menu problem. Ok, I do have Diablo II working, mostly. At the moment, it only works under TWM (not fvwm which is what I normally use) and only in -win mode. Greetings, I got Diablo II work flawlessly with Wine. But I want to use maphack, and that's my problem here. You see, maphack needs the END key to be pressed to reveal the map. Hi, I frequently compile wine from source. Last weekend, diablo II worked fine. Today, after I updated wine to latest head, it isn't playing any sound in the menu.
