I am concidering taking the Jump to Linux. I have SuSE. 6.3 at the moment.. but don't want to loose some of my M.$. Apps.. I would like to see Mame/32 working in Wine, however, it uses a couple of VxDs to do some things (I think it is timing and joysticks). Normally VxD's do not work in Wine, but Mame/32 is open source. With access to the source code of the VxD's, would it be possible to modify the VxD files to work with Wine? If so, what would need to be done to make the VxD drivers work with Wine?
