Quicken 99 internet options
Has anyone had any success in getting Quicken's internet stuff to run?
Q99 is installed in a W98SE partition accessed from RH7.1 using the wine
build supplied with the distribution.
The internet configuration will not work from inside Linux. I can set
it up as direct connect from W98 but it won't hook up from inside Linux.
Is this even possible to do or is it one of those things that

Wine through SSH for Quicken 2006
I am trying to run Quicken 2006 on Wine through an SSH tunnel. Everything is working fine through logging in and starting, until I click on one of my accounts in Quicken. At that point, Quicken freezes completely.
I am running this on a CentOS 6 x86_64 PC.
This is the information I get through a terminal window:

Quicken 2011 Starter Edition, installs, crashes when run
I have a legal version of Quicken 2011 Starter Edition, and I am trying to install it using Wine on my up to date Linux Mint install (Mint 10 "Julia" based on Ubuntu Maverick)
I have tried this a couple of ways: using Wine from the default repos (1.2.10 I think?) as well as wine from the WineHQ site (1.3.11)

Quicken 2000 install fails with insufficient temp disk space
I'm a newbie to WINE.
I'm running WINE 0.0.20050211-1 with kernel 2.6.10 and
the Debian distribution.
I CD to /cdrom and issue the command wine install.exe
and the Quicken 2000 install starts.
I immediately get a message from Quicken that there is
insufficient temp space to perform the install.
I have no clue about how to proceed. If someone has a
HOWTO to get Quicken 2000 working, that

Incomplete List of Available Printers in Quicken
I am running Quicken Home and Business 2006 on an Intel iMac with OSX (Leopard - 10.5.2) with X11 installed and using Darwine 1.0b (from kronenberg).
When I attempt to print anything in Quicken the list of available printers only shows the two physical printers available to the iMac but none of the PDF printers show. When I open Firefox in Darwine it shows a complete list of printers including

Quicken backup and Samba 2.2.8a on FreeBSD
I've run into difficulty getting Quicken 2001 and Quicken 2003 backup to
work with a Samba server.
My smb.conf is relatively simple (below is a slightly editted version with
the important stuff):

quicken 98 deluxe (year 2000 solution) problem with backup space
I use quicken 98 deluxe (year 2000 solution) with wine 0.9 on a
slackware 10.2 sysytem.
All has been perfect until now.
When I try to backup I get the following message:
Your backup disk is out of space.
Insert a different disk and press OK.
The problem is this I backup to drive c: (/home/samac/.wine/fake_windows/)
My home directory partition is only showing 8% usage.
So I should not be

Quicken Basic 2000 - which wine version?
Can anybody tell me which version of wine they are using for Quicken 2000?
I have downloaded the latest version, but am having lots of problems.

Quicken backup and Samba 3.0.0 on FreeBSD
I've run into difficulty getting Quicken 2001 and Quicken 2003 backup to
work with a Samba server. I reported this last week on Samba 2.2.8a. I
upgraded to Samba 3.0.0 and I see the same problem.

Quicken 2010 QDF file can't be read on windows machine
Hello,
I've been running Quicken 2010 under Wine for a while now. It works well, except that various elements redraw themselves over and over again, making it painfully slow to use.
Now for completely unrelated reasons I'm forced to run a Windows XP VM on my Linux machine, so I installed Quicken 2010 on the VM as well. When I copied my QDF file over from ~/.wine to the VM, though,

Funky Font problems with Quicken 2010
I am using wine 1.3.16 on Mac OX 10.6.7, built and installed using osxwinebuilder. I am using it to run Quicken 2010. Quicken installed and runs fine with one exception: One of the fonts used in Quicken is rendered very poorly. Here is an example:

Quicken 2010 Home and Business
I looked at the App Database, and tried to follow the instructions for Quicken2010, which clearly states that the account update was tested.
I know this is a newbe question, but Step three is mixing me up
$wine your_installer
Does this refer to the Quicken installer.exe? if so why do we repeat this step at the end, and if not what does it refer to?

Allow multiple users of the Quicken 2011 program
I installed Quicken 2011 in Wine 1.2.3 under a Linux MINT12 System. I am the Administrator. All went well.
I then installed a second user - my wife. In her menu there was a Wine. BUT her wine does not have Quicken 2011. I tried to install Quicken under her login but ran into all sorts of problems - Mainly this dumb Com Error thing.

Possible bug - Quicken 2001 Deluxe
Hi,
As per Tony's suggestion, I looked around in http://bugs.winehq.com
for this one and didn't find it. Since it would be my first bug report,
would someone be willing to see if this is in there and I missed it?
The bug looks like this:
1) Wine only installation using Wine 20021125 from CVS
2) Quicken 2001 Deluxe

Quicken Accounting software.
Just a quick note for those who are interested in getting the accounting
package Quicken running under Freebsd 6 using wine, it may work with
other installations as well but I have not tried it but others may like
to.
I am very new to this so it all I have done will no doubt be considered
as quick and dirty by some but it worked for me and I am tickled pink.

Anyone successful with Quicken 2012?
I have been running Quicken 2009 for over a year successfully and the appDB shows Quicken 2011 works well. Because of Quicken's support policy, I am forced to upgrade to Quicken 2012. I have been unable to run it succesfully under Wine 1.3.37. Anyone have any tips? I have filed a bug just in case the issue is not purely local.

Will give it a try. However the winetricks did allow that part of the program to run. It now freezes at the point you try to register the program. It would not respect the wine internet explorer, so i used winetricks to do the fake, then to actually install ie6. Ie6 is missing the menu bar. It also does not repond properly to Quicken's attempt to register the program. Without being able

Quicken 2 for Windows
Hi,
I am new to Linux (Fedora 11) and Wine (1.1.18) and am trying to eliminate going back to windows to run certain applications. Please forgive any transgressions in this post as I assure you they are unintentional. By the way, Wine (1.1.23) causes Quicken to crash on start up. Wine (1.1.18) works just fine.
