similar to: MSN Messenger

I seem to have a problem with wine that has me stumped, wine runs apps fine, but when i go to open a file under the app, i get a debug message. Has anyone seen something like this before?

Does anyone have a url or some hints as to how to install MSN messenger, i know it can be done, but I can't figure it out. Thanks

Is it possible to use Wine to run USB DSL modems with Win9x only drivers? I had a choice of a free PCI or USB modem and heard I had a better shot with the USB. There are no Linux drivers, at least for now. Tom

For some reason TCP/IP apps (Ultima Online, mIRC, etc.) work fine, but when I go to browse servers for Internet Games in Half Life / Counterstrike / etc.. can't get a server list, no error, just 0 servers. No, there are no filters on or anything and I hit update and refresh and still a no go; Yes, Everything works fine in Windows. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Douglas Thigpen

I have Wine working, and my Windows XP-installation mounted as read only. Reading the FAQ, I noticed: "DON'T configure Wine to use an NT-based Windows install (NT, Win2K, WinXP)." Has anyone noticed that in the latest gaim update (gaim-1.3.1-0.el4.3.i386.rpm) almost all the MSN smiley icons are not included in the package? I am running Mandrake Linux 9.2 with Shorewall 1.4, and GAIM direct connect does not work, and it did before on my hardware router.
