Ok... here's my big problem with the nVidia drivers. Ever since I upgraded to 0.9-6 DGA mode with Starcraft has been broken!, and now with the 0.9-767 drivers Starcraft has refused to work AT ALL. If I replace the drivers back to the 0.9-5 (which are dreadfully unstable with SMP) Starcraft works fine. Any resolution, any color depth. With 0.9-6 I have to run Starcraft at 8-bit depth, else

Hi: I can get Starcraft to run well enough, but I want the Wine Starcraft Window that comes up on my desktop to grab my mouse. When I say grab I mean that I don't want my mouse to go outside of the wine window until I exit the program. Is this possible? I'm using XFree 4.0.2 and kernel 2.4.2 if that matters. Hello. I'm trying to find wine that can make use of DGA (with new Linux distros like my Debian 4.0). I need it because I want to run Fallout 2 with acceptable speed - right now it is unplayable (without DGA). So far I tested wine 0.9.15 and some above - and no luck. This has me baffled. I run Diablo 2 under Wine, works absolutely flawlessly in every way. I have DGA enabled, and a 800x600 desktop (also tried the Managed and Unmanaged options). Thing is, my X desktop is 1600x1200x16bpp and of course Diablo 2 is only 800x600. Is there any way to have this resolution automagically change to 800x600 (nothing seems to do that here), and back when I exit it? I

Ive tried very hard to get Half-Life to run on my Linux box...and I have finally managed to get it to work...the problem (the BIG problem) was that I was trying to use an installed version of windows as the basis of wine. Hi, finally got HL to run at 1024 in opengl. But there are some things which i'm not happy about: 1) Sound lags about 1 sec after the game, EAX doesn't work. 2) Some fonts don't get found (which messes up the scoreboard). I'm running Mandrake7.2 with kernel 2.4.2 and XFree 4.0.1 and nvidia's 0.9.6 drivers. Some things i've found out so far: Using the nvidia agp driver
