Debugging DCOM for Future Pinball
With current wine version, Future Pinball (a free pinball simulation)
needs native DCOM98.EXE to run.
What are the necessary debug channel that could help to debug DCOM ?

Re : Debugging DCOM for Future Pinball
For me, current is latest 'packaged' wine, so 0.9.45 (it's not git wine
if this is your question)

TOO MANY ERRORS
Ok, I've tried wine with about 10 different aplications and it always
returns SOME kind of error... and it closes... the only one I can run
without ANY problem is DiabloII.... not even half life runs on wine...
Using wineX didn't solve any problem.. in fact I think it it even
harder...
Any idea why wine won't work with virtually no game at all???
thanks a lot

Is builtin chm viewer works ?
Future Pinball (a free pinball simulation) have some chm help files.
I can't see it with 'wine hh.exe file.chm' command (chm are okay with a
native viewer, like gnochm)
Is there a way to make it works ?

Debugging a new app ?
Hello
I'm new to wine-users. I'had often used wine with known-working apps, but now I
try to launch Future Pinball (a pinball simulation), see
http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?iAppId=4596.
As it's not work, I search docs on how to debug an app.
My first try is to check that all dll requierd is present in wine (or I'll try
to add them):
I've profiling it on windows xp with

Program worked in 20050930, not in 0.9.7
Hello
I have been trying to get WinMDI (a program for reading flow cytometry data
in windows) working under wine. WinMDI has an appdb entry of
http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?appId=2850 . I had the early versions
of this program working under wine 20050930 and 20050725.
I recently upgraded from 20050930 to 0.9.7 on my FreeBSD 6.0 box, and tried
to run the same version that worked under

SJava embedded in R
Hi,
Here's some suggestions for troubleshooting the
install.
The CLASSPATH needs to be
$SJAVA_HOME/org/omegahat/Jars/Environment.jar,
$SJAVA_HOME/org/omegahat/Jars/antlr.jar
$SJAVA_HOME/org/omegahat/Jars/jas.jar
$SJAVA_HOME.
This allows the java compiler/interpreter to find
1)the ROmegahatInterpreter and REvaluator classes(in
a org/omegahat/R/Java tree under SJava

ext3 / ext4 on USB flash drive?
I think this is really an attempt at user feedback, rather than user
discussion. But there's no such thing as a user-feedback mail list.
Nevertheless, others may find this pertinent: why doesn't mke2fs
handle USB's competently? And if it does, why doesn't it reassure me
so? And how can I handle a linux-formatted USB flash drive in the
absence of my system giving me any guidance?
