Autosketch
When trying to start Autosketch, I get the following errors (but all repeated several times. The program itself starts, but with a blank dialogue box (which seems to do nothing when cancelled). Actually trying to draw something in the program causes it to hang. Any ideas on how to fix it? err:shell:SHELL_DllEntryPoint shell.dll instantiated twice! err:commdlg:COMMDLG_DllEntryPoint commdlg.dll

Window position in managed mode
When starting, for example, FreeCell in managed more, the program opens with the top of the window out of the top of my screen (i.e. the top corner of my desktop coincides with the top-left of the menu bar). It's not a huge problem, but I can't move the program... -- ------------------------------------------------- Richard Spandit Firmly on the Linux wagon SuSE 6.3, KDE 2.0

Hooray! (but help)
I'm completely new to WINE, but I've managed to get it working... of sorts. Playing Freecell under Linux is all very well but trying to run Outlook Express caused no end of errors. Any tips? By the way, even running Freecell caused a load of font type errors... -- ------------------------------------------------- Richard Spandit Firmly on the Linux wagon SuSE 6.3, KDE 2.0

[LLVMdev] TableGen pattern
Hello, I am trying to convert the subtree (vector_shuffle v2f32, v2f32 (build_vector imm1, imm2)) to a machine instruction that takes 2 v2f32's and 2 immediates. I tried the following table gen pattern : (set v2f32Reg:$dst, (vector_shuffle v2f32Reg:$src1, v2f32Reg:$src2, (build_vector imm:$c1, imm:$c2))) Table gen barfs about type

In the past I have configured without using the "--with-tcltk" flag, and R of course built just fine. But it *did not* have tcltk capability. When I wanted that capability I had to start using the

Rolf, looking at the configure script I believe you need to specify --with-tcl-config=/usr/lib/tcl8.6/tclConfig.sh and similarly --with-tk-config=<location of tkConfig.sh> HTH, Peter On Fri, Nov 17, 2017 at 8:43 PM, Rolf Turner <r.turner at auckland.ac.nz> wrote: > On 18/11/17 17:00, Erin Hodgess wrote: >> >> When I have compiled from sourced on Ubuntu, I did NOT

integrate over polygon
Hi there, I want to integrate a function over an irregular polygon. Is there any function which can implement this easily? Otherwise, I am thinking of divide the polygon into very small rectangles and use "adapt" to approximate it. Do you have any suggestions to get the fine division? Any advice is appreciated. Haiyong

Samba + Quickbooks Idle Crash
I have a samba server running on ubuntu 9.10 with windows (both Xp and vista) clients running quickbooks (accounting software). Quickbooks can connect to the samba server and get access to the data files with no problems, if the secretary uses quickbooks continuously there is never a problem the system works for hours on end. However if the secretary leaves the software running but doing nothing

Quickbooks and Samba and Oplocks... OH MY
It is widely known that Quickbooks has a horrible storage engine, "requires" Windows to host multiuser access, etc. However, I've successfully been storing QuickBooks files on Samba shares at a handful of locations with no real issues other than slight performance degradation. However, a somewhat recent thread here mentioned the proper use of oplock'ing in the Samba configuration

oplocks, QuickBooks (Samba 3)
Hi there, Can somebody please explain to me why Samba 3 requires 'oplocks = no' on shares for programs like Quickbooks to operate properly with multiple users, where Samba 2 didn't? Without this option, Quickbooks will complain about file corruption when a second user tries to open a file. This option, however, makes the particular share that the option is present in _very_ slow

Domain Users cannot use quickbooks
Hi all; the other day we tried to get ambitious and get the office onto a samba domain. Things were fine, but our quickbooks users could not use quickbooks because they were domain restricted users and needed to be domain standard users. Anyone have any help on how to get the users in question to be power users? Mike hillyer

Seeking help with Samba shares & OPLOCKS & Quickbooks databases
I thought I had things figured out, but guess not. I have multi-user Quickbooks databases that functioned fine on a Novell server but are behaving badly on a Samba share. I have created a separate share for the Quickbook databases, users are running Win XP Pro, latest patches, and the Quickbooks application installed on the desktop. It is a multiuser version. Server is RedHat ES 3, Samba

Debian Sarge (testing), Samba 3.0 RC4 and Quickbooks
Debian and Samba Teams: I'm having a really weird problem with Samba 3.0Beta2+RC4 on my Debian Sarge (testing) system with Quickbooks Pro 2002 multi-user version. The version of my question is: Does anybody know what the proper global, share, and permissions settings should be to support multi-user Quickbooks on a Samba share? Quickbooks Pro 2001
I moved a Quickbooks Pro file to our Samba server (v 2.0.7) during an effort to centralize some stuff in our organization. Before moving the file to the samba server it was shared from a users NT Workstation. I don't consider this a viable long term solution. Anyway ... here it goes with my problem report .... :-) So I moved the Quickbooks file to the Samba server, setup an Accounting share
