wine-20010510 fails to run?
The system I am using is a clean install of Mandrake 8.0 which has the gcc version 2.96 installed. I downloaded the wine-20010510 snapshot and successfully ran the ./tools/wininstall. The build seems to have run without problems and if I type: wine --version the correct release number is displayed indicating the install was also succesful. As per the FAQ I also did the following:

General tweaking tips for wine?
Does anyone have any general tips on how to get programs to work on Wine? I hear lots of success stories for various programs which I have failed to get working on my own machine. But then again, my own version of wine is a bog-standard installation without any special adjustments made to it. What are the steps usually taken to attempt to get a program to run under Wine? Or is that too

ntdll module error when launching my software
Hello, I'm trying to have an educational cd-rom to run on Ubuntu 9.04. The program is supposed to work on multiple stations so the CD is not needed after installation. The installation goes flawlessly but when I launch the program I get an error right away saying : "Exception EExternalException in module ntdll.dll at 0002EB08. External exception C0000025." Maybe it can be solved

The main purpose of installing wine is to run an EDI windows client server application - Gentran Server 5.2.1.04. I need the Gentran client

Need help with modifying Wine memory allocation in NTDLL
Greetings! We are building a project in which we need Wine to allocate its memory in a shared memory that would be accessible to our custom sub-processes. We use Wine to run Unity3D. So far so good. Now, the idea is to run 3 independent sub-processes, each with its own graphical context (one per GPU on a 3 GPU machine), which would need to have access to client-side buffers (indices, normals,
