rsync always try change owner and group of symlink in --fake-super mode
Hi all.
I long time discover strange to me behavior. If I add --fake-super
option on both sides rsync start always set owner and group of symlink.
What interesting there no error, but it done each time as it has been
changed.
Simple reproduce:
$ mkdir rsync.symlinks
$ echo 'file content' > rsync.symlinks/file.itself
$ ln -s file.itself rsync.symlinks/file.symlink
Then try to transfer

Multi-language input
Hi.
I'm using Fedora 7 and Gnome. I need sometimes to be able to write
Russian and Hebrew. This works fine with native linux applications,
but not in Wine applications. If I launch Wine application, I can
write only in English, if I try to type in other language, my input is
either ignored or displayed as blocks. If I set LANG to ru_RU.UTF-8 or
to he_IL.UTF-8 before starting Wine application,

Nice walkthrough of installing Wine and two database applications
Here's a walkthrough for how to install and run
Database Designer for PostgreSQL and
Database Designer for MySQL.
Every step is screenshotted, including setting up the winehq repository:

H323: g711-g729 transcoding
I have a connect to * via H.323/g711 from device A and want to connect
to B which want for H.323/g729
h323.conf contains
disallow=all
allow=alaw
allow=g729
but outgoing faststart/TCS contains only g711 (from h323_request(format)
i think) and so no codec negotiation and no voice.
Howto run up g711/H323 -> * -> g729/H323
PS intel's g729 was used. ast 1.0.3-6

Dovecot immediate logout (imap4)
I've experienced with automatic client logout (probably after IDLE
command sent by a client).
I simply run any imap4 client and get this in mail.log:

This isn't something I understand, but bisect tells me this

[PATCH v2 3/3] device-dax: Add system ram (add_memory()) with MHP_NO_FIRMWARE_MEMMAP
Currently, when adding memory, we create entries in /sys/firmware/memmap/
as "System RAM". This does not reflect the reality and will lead to
kexec-tools to add that memory to the fixed-up initial memmap for a
kexec kernel (loaded via kexec_load()). The memory will be considered
initial System RAM by the kexec kernel.
We should let the kexec kernel decide how to use that memory - just
