Perhaps this has been mentioned and I wasn't paying attention. When I try to import a postscript file (which is EPS according to the R help on postscript) my Framemaker filter chokes. If I simply edit the first line of the file to put %!PS-Adobe-3.0 EPSF-3.0 rather than %!PS-Adobe-3.0 it works just fine. It sure would be simpler if the postscipt driver put this in the file. I have Ubuntu 11.10 as my OS and Wine 1.5 with all updates. I have installed Windows Movie Maker 6.0. I originally posted that I have been unable to run FrameMaker 6.0 under wine. Frame complains that it can't find printer fonts (whatever that means) and it prompts to see if I want to edit the registry. As requested by a couple of responders, I ran wine with font debugging on. I've had success on "older" model Lenovos.....(T-410 / T-420 / T-430) but anything beyond those seems to have some issue or another. I was even able to swap the standard drive to an SD (250GB) on a T-430 and it's running g like a champ.
