Squid as interception HTTPS proxy under CentOS 7
Hi all, I am trying to configure squid as a interception HTTPS proxy under CentOS 7. At every https request, I am receiving a certificate error. My current config for squid is: # My localnet acl localnet src 172.22.55.0/28 acl localnet src 172.22.58.0/29 acl SSL_ports port 443 acl Safe_ports port 80 # http acl Safe_ports port 21 # ftp acl Safe_ports port 443 # https acl Safe_ports port 70

dovecot-auth: Too many open files
All, [version: dovecot-0.99.11-4.EL4.src.rpm] We recently experienced an issue that prevented all new IMAP logins from occurring. Although it appears that it was due to running out of available system file descriptors, I'm still not sure what the true root cause was as I can't replicate the same error in our test environment. The system file descriptor max was set at (per `cat

Squid question
I'm having issues getting squid to send traffic through a specific upstream gateway. I need for a MS WSUS server and a Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager to get through a squid proxy to get out to Microsoft and Symantec respectively to get MS patches and Symantec DAT files. The traffic needs to go through the squid proxy, through a firewall, and through an upstream McAfee gateway

[Bridge] Bringing up bridge at boot (properly)
Currently my ethernet bridge has 2 intel 100mps NIC's that are both part of a bridge. ( I followed the sample setup on the bridge.sf.net page.) In addition to this I would like to access the internet from within the ethernet bridge and when using the sample instructions I have no gateway setup and no default route (0.0.0.0). I know this data has to be attached to the bridge device and not to

LSI SATA MegaRaid & Centos 7 build 1511
Dear All; I want to install Centos 7 latest build on NEC Server 5800/120b-2. The installation wizard fails to detect the storage connected to LSI SATA MegaRaid PCI. VSFTPD passive mode is not working
I have Centos 5.7 64bit; I have installed vsftpd as standalone service and using it for two years now with no problem. Suddenly; only it works with active mode. The passive mode stops working and gives time out. Firewall is disabled and SELinux is set to permissive. I ran tcpdump and I noticed that only first three packets reached the FTP for passive mode and no more packets on other ports #

PIX!!!!!
Can anyone point me in a good direction for configuring SIP through a PIX using 1:1 NAT. I have read anything I could get my hands on and tried them all with very little success. I can get it to work through the cheap little cable modem routers, but not this PIX. I -can- make a direct SIP call using the IP address of the * server (ie.exten@ipaddr), but when I do that * still doesn't
