problems with bind update of 9.8.2.0.10
Everyone, I have two x86_64 servers with CentOS 6.3 that seem to have some difficulty with the last version of bind : 32:bind-9.8.2-0.10.rc1.el6_3.2.x86_64 When I run htop I am getting a CPU usage of 70 to 80% all of the time. I am not seeing problems identified in the log files on either machine. This may have been present before the update of 9.8.2.0, but I certainly did not notice it. Has

puppet freezes on FUTEX_WAKE_PRIVATE
Hi, i just want to ask whether somebody else has this problem of mine and if it can be solved. Many of my ( 30+ ) puppet installation freeze up after some time. The process is waiting for some private futex, but it stays like that forever. This is what strace looks like when the problem occures: [pid 29173] futex(0x3d35ce7a84, FUTEX_WAIT_BITSET_PRIVATE|FUTEX_CLOCK_REALTIME, 43406739,

[lit] check-all hanging
Hi, >From time to time, I see check-all hang during running of lit tests. The hang always happens at the > 90% completion stage and I'm pretty sure all tests have been run and check-all is just waiting for lit/python to exit. I see a single python processing running, taking very little CPU time. An strace of that process shows this: select(0, NULL, NULL, NULL, {0, 50000}) = 0

[lit] check-all hanging
Hi David, Chandler, I see lldb tests hang often, and then I kill the dotest process. I'd like to stop running check-all too, but I feel it's important when I modify FileCheck. The flakiness that Chandler mentioned makes it time-consuming to verify test results. Joel On Wed, Jan 2, 2019 at 4:41 PM Chandler Carruth via llvm-dev < llvm-dev at lists.llvm.org> wrote: > What

Samba4 Kerberos kinit does not resolve kdc hostname
Hi, thank you so! much. Turning off avahi daemon was the solution! rapsberry instead of raspberry is a typo during porivision actually. Thank you again :) I will write an entry on my blog to make sure that does not happen again. One last time for google bots. IF you receive kinit: Cannot contact any KDC for realm while getting initial credentials make sure you don't run avahi However

Samba4 Kerberos kinit does not resolve kdc hostname
Hi, i am really depressed at this moment. I set up an domain controller using samba4 and an raspberry pi. I can join the domain and everything works BUT kerberos has some strange problems resolving my raspberry hostname. First of all some information: Raspberry pi is DHCP Server and DNS-Server (BIND9). First of all the configurations: Code: /usr/local/samba/etc/smb.conf # Global

Hi, /etc/resolv.conf looks exactly like this: domain family.rapsberry.local search family.rapsberry.local nameserver 192.168.178.222 So to answer your question: yes the only Nameserver the raspberry has is itself. Hi Timo, Periodic segfaults with doveadm proxy list: root at director1:~) doveadm proxy list doveadm(root): Error: LIST failed: Disconnected Segmentation fault (core dumped) Sometimes it's just the 'LIST failed' error, other times it's the error with the segfault. Yum segmentation fault updating from 5.6 to 5.7
I'm trying to update my CentOS 5.6 boxes to 5.7, and on every single one of them yum is failing with a segmentation fault: the error happens when yum is checking the 'base' repository. Segmentation fault with latest 1.1 revision
Hello, I am trying 1.1 branch and I experience a segmentation fault upon ALRM signal. This looks like a race condition. I have my tincd daemon instantiated manually in if-up.d/jmuchemb (without IF_TINC_NET) and when if-up.d/tinc runs, it sends a ALRM signal that makes tincd crash. It fails here: Core was generated by `tincd -D -n jmuchemb -d -o ConnectTo srv -o srv.Address 81.x.y.z -o

SSSD and usermod
Hi! How to get usermod working with SSSD/389DS ? We have SSSD set up on our server and it uses 389DS. SSSD was enabled with the following command: authconfig --enablesssd --enablesssdauth --ldapbasedn=dc=example,dc=com --enableshadow --enablemkhomedir --enablelocauthorize --update Running for example "usermod -L username" returns: usermod: user 'username' does not exist in

Hi, Ever since I recently upgraded to Fedora 25, I can't get kvm working. It's worked on this system since initial fedora 20 install. All upgrades were done via yum, then once available, dnf. I do have libvirt-sock in LISTENING state: STREAM LISTENING /var/run/libvirt/libvirt-sock I noticed I also have multiple connections in CONNECTING state: STREAM CONNECTING 0
