I have Picasa, gThumb (not really an Editor but I believe it can reduce the quality of photos) and The GIMP installed. Is there a way I can have a photo editor reduce all of them to VGA size, without doing that 272 times? The people

OT: Dropbox - Fedora Core 9 RPM will work on CentOS 5.4?
Dropbox has an RPM for Fedora Core 9 (x86). I am running CentOS 5.4 on my Desktop, which I believe is based on Fedora Core 6. Are the libraries Fedora Core 9 uses substantially different than those CentOS 5.4 uses? If Dropbox had an SRPM available, I would Download that and Rebuild, but I'm sure it is Proprietary and they won't release an SRPM to me. TIA! Lanny

/etc/X11/xorg.conf question
If I use "system-config-display" or "system-config-display --reconfig" although I get a message that I need to log out of GNOME, to have the new file written, for new Display Resolution, logging out or restarting the box does not result in the new settings for the Display taking hold. Sometimes, the number of colors is updated, but *never* the Resolution. Below is my xorg.conf

OT: free DNS service?
I have been using a free DNS service for the past seven (7) years. This morning, at 4 A.M., , I changed the "A" record for one of my web sites, to point to an IP address on a different server, so I could test. After watching the TTL count down from 3600 to zero, with the "dig" command, it then reset to 3600, but still resolved to the original IP address. :-) I set the

OT: Linux WYSIWYG HTML Editors
I have KomPozer installed, but after using M$ FrontPage for years, KomPozer looks like it is going to have a learning curve and I want to get away from FrontPage and Windows.
