CentOS6 CR repo - depsolving problem
All, Has anyone else had a problem with the CR repo on a 6.4 or 6.5 system? I have a test VM that has the CentOS6 CR repo enabled and it recently (well a week or so) started having dependency problems. It's choking on dependencies for ca-cerfificates. Obviously there aren't any CR packages yet for 6.5 so a zero package count and empty directory on the mirror [0] are legitimate. But

Rsync resource consumption, whilst building a large file list
I need to rsync a large collection of files (images) that number in the 1000's. We have 2 repositories, one was mass-copied recently, the other has since had updates performed. The initial copy took over 5 hours to complete ;-) What we want is only to update the destination (old) copy with newer files, delete anything that shouldn't be there. What I'm trying to determine is

Merging Ogg streams whilst updating the Skeleton?
Oh, sorry, I completely misunderstood. You want to make them time-parallel streams! I would merge them with oggz-merge without skeleton and then add skeleton using oggindex e.g. http://git.xiph.org/?p=OggIndex.git;a=summary . (oggindex is also available from http://firefogg.org/nightly/ ) Hope that helps. Silvia. On Sat, Aug 23, 2014 at 3:35 PM, Nick Burch <ogg at gagravarr.org> wrote:

Merging Ogg streams whilst updating the Skeleton?
It's well possible there are bugs. I don't know when the code was last updated. Also, I am not sure if there are command-line parameters to set the role - I would think there are. I don't actually have these tools in use right now, sorry. I hope somebody else can help. Silvia. On Sun, Aug 24, 2014 at 5:21 PM, Nick Burch <ogg at gagravarr.org> wrote: > On Sat, 23 Aug 2014,

I've gone ahead and raised three bugs, one for the offset, one for more helpful error messaged, and one for subsequent streams of a given type needing different roles+names.

Error whilst building packages
Dear All, I have been working on building a new version of the Wavethresh package for some time now. Having build a working version on Linux, I am getting the following error when checking on Windows: C:\Rpackages\R\rw2000\bin>Rcmd check wavethresh * checking for working latex ... OK * using log directory 'C:/Rpackages/R/rw2000/bin/wavethresh.Rcheck' * checking for file

Hi Timo, As a follow-up to my earlier email, I've managed to get a few backtraces now. #305439 o_stream_close (stream=0x1680c10) at ostream.c:85 #305440 0x00007ff222f70f3c in o_stream_zlib_send_outbuf (zstream=0x1680b80) at ostream-zlib.c:97 #305441 0x00007ff222f70fef in o_stream_zlib_send_flush (zstream=0x1680b80) at ostream-zlib.c:182 #305442 0x00007ff222f711cb in o_stream_zlib_flush

Merging Ogg streams whilst updating the Skeleton?
What does oggz-info tell you about the file when you've merged it (without skeleton)? It may say that there are two logical video bitstreams, because they've come from different files. So, two skeletons may actually be correct. I hear that ffmpeg has a a concat feature. Not sure how it does it. There's also OggCat

X11 not being detected whilst installing "rgl" package
Any ideas? I certainly have X11, I have tried copying it into other directories. At present it is in /etc/X11. There should be (and are) two logical video streams - I'm trying to create a file with a

averaging two matrices whilst ignoring missing values
Hi folks, I'm trying to do something that seems like it should easy, but it apparently isn't. I have two large matrices, both containing a number of missing values at different cells. I would like to average these matrices, but the NAs are preventing me. I get a "non-numeric argument to binary operator" error. That's the first problem.

Merging Ogg streams whilst updating the Skeleton?
Hi All I'm currently trying to put together an ogg file with two theora streams, a handful of audio streams (probably mixed vorbis and opus), and a Skeleton stream that describes their relationships to each other. I had hoped to be able to use the oggz suite of tools, but I can't seem to get that to work. To generate my theora files, I'm using ffmpeg2theora, which will happily

sorting data whilst ignoring NA's
Hello, I am very new to R and have hit my first main problem that I hope someone can easily resolve. I have some data that looks like this (there are 20,000 rows): > qdata day month year flow [1,] 2 10 1945 NA [2,] 3 10 1945 NA [3,] 4 10 1945 NA [4,] 5 10 1945 NA [5,] 6 10 1945 2.973 [6,] 7 10 1945 NA

object not found whilst loading namespace
I've been updating a package and, when installing a local devel version, I get an error "object 'confusionMatrix' not found whilst loading namespace". Looking around online, it appears that this might be related to loading a specific RData file, but it doesn't seem to be the case AFAICT. I've installed the devel version in the last week without issues and the

Disabling users whilst still allowing logins with a 'master password'
Hi, I'm having trouble coming up with an authentication configuration that does what we want with dovecot, and thought it would be worth passing it by the list in case anyone can spot an easy fix, or confirm my suspicions that code changes are required. You should probably be aware that this is to support a migration away from Dovecot to a certain Microsoft-provided mail platform, so if this

Puppet fails to install package, whilst it's okay to do manually
Dear all, I''m seeing this strange thing: When I run "*puppet agent -td*" on the node (Nagios, in this example case), puppet fails to install Nagios3 (on Debian) with this: Debug: Executing ''/usr/bin/dpkg-query -W --showformat ${Status} ${Package} > ${Version}\n nagios3'' > Debug: Executing ''/usr/bin/apt-get -q -y -o >

HELP: Connections dropping whilst processes increasing.
I'm running Samba 2.0.4b on a E450 running Solaris 7 which acts as a diskspace server for students, normally everything runs quite smoothly with numbers of connections in the region of about 800/900. Then every now and again students will start seeing their connections being lost and others will not get a connection when they log in, looking at the system shows no obvious problems, except

i386 and x86_64 depsolver issue with Seamonkey
CentOS uses the yum dependency solver for doing updates and not the RHN (normal) up2date mechanism. That is functionality built into up2date. Due to this difference, there is a problem with the Seamonkey upgrade to replace Mozilla using up2date on CentOS-4, because it does not see Seamonkey as obsoleting Mozilla. (This is a problem with the yum depsolver that is included in up2date). Due to
