Samba Issue for Mac
We are using the nss-db instead of SSSD on the Samba server. The backend database is nss. idmap config adlocal : backend = nss Our issue is related to user directory discrepancy on the Mac OS systems. On the windows systems, we don?t see any issue. -Himi ________________________________ From: samba <samba-bounces at lists.samba.org> on behalf of Rowland Penny via samba <samba at

gfs2 and quotas - system crash
I have tried sending this before, but it did not appear to get through. Hello, When using gfs2 with quotas on a SAN that is providing storage to two clustered systems running CentOS6.5, one of the systems can crash. This crash appears to be caused when a user tries to add something to a SAN disk when they have exceeded their quota on that disk. Sometimes a stack trace is produced in

I turned 'off' quite a bit and yum removed quite a bit. These set of programs still allow full use as a host so far, including the startx desktop. Always afraid to remove or

Then I decided to create a new one from the scratch using Debian 10 and Samba 4.12.2 (and everything is working perfectly). I have migrated all the accounts/machines/etc from old to new domain without any problem. Both the
