Dovecot versus libsafe 2.0.15
Hi,
I encountered a problem using Dovecot (todays CVS, 11/10/2005) with
libsafe, systemwide install. Dovecot silently dies.
Here is the end of the systrace output I got:
bind(6, {sin_family=AF_INET, sin_port=htons(143),
sin_addr=inet_addr("0.0.0.0")}}, 16) = 0
getsockname(6, {sin_family=AF_INET, sin_port=htons(143),
sin_addr=inet_addr("0.0.0.0")}}, [16]) = 0
listen(6, 8)

Error in vorbis-tools.spec / Incompatibility with libsafe?!?
Hello,
I found the error in the nightly snapshot of Apr 30 21:19 GMT. I cannot
find it in the bugzilla. I really tried. What is the bug id?
I also found another bug: I am using Mandrake 8.0 and the libsafe
library was installed. Then some files cannot be encoded. Some work. I

bugzilla and look into it. Several calls to

Particular user post-login hang
Greets,
I'm using dovecot 2.0.9 (also tried rolling back to 2.0.8 which does the same
- the output below is from 2.0.8), and this problem is imap specific.
The following is a recurring problem with a specific user - as far as we can
tell, other users are working just fine (there are thousands); but I bet there
are others.
In a nutshell: User authenticates OK, then the imap process hangs.

Ex-Bug Report: -z option
Since writing this I've recompiled with zlib 1.1.4 and everything appears
smooth. Since this is intermittant, I'll send it off anyways in the hops that
someone else may see it. It also *might* apply to the "known issues"
entry about "unexpected close." (Similar symptoms, but it may just be a shared
codepath on the messages. Note that the dumped len in my output(4)
