ldirectord package on centos 6
Hi,
I'm looking for the ldirectord package but can't find it. Previously this
was available as "heartbeat-ldirectord" and nowadays it is built as an
independent package from "resource-agents" however neither seems to be
available either in core centos 6 or epel. Where did it go?

Dependency problem in heartbeat-ldirectord update for Centos 4.6
I've just been trying to do a "yum update" on a Centos 4.6 system, and one
of the packages it wants to upgrade is heartbeat-ldirectord from 2.1.2-3
to 2.1.3-2
However, the newer version has dependency problems that can't be resolved:
[root at miton2 ~]# yum update

Loading "protectbase" plugin

IBM ServeRAID M5014 and CentOS 5.5
Hi all,
we are about to buy some IBM x3550 M2 servers with ServeRAID M5014 SAS
onboard controller. Can anyone confirm that these controllers will work
with CentOS 5.5 (seems to be some rebranded LSI controller).
I cannot find any hint in the 2.6.18-194.3.1.el5 sources...
Regards,
Peter

loadbalance/gre tunnels
Hi, I have two systems each with 2 two gre tunnels over ipsec. The tunnels are setup to loadbalance using ''ip route''.
Using ping from one server to the other I get equal results via the two gre tunnels, but when I try a large ftp transfer the utilization of one tunnel is 90% and the other 10%. The two interfaces are both 100/full.
What would be the reason for this, or would

Re: DUNDi .... Halfway and CLUSTERING
Do you mean the peristence of connecting a specific phone to a specific
server? If so, then it's relatively easy. The ldirectord has a persistence
setting that does that. If I'm misunderstanding you, then could you explain
further what you mean?

Blank lines in conditional templates
I''m writing ldirectord.cf files via puppet and unfortunately
ldirectord is sensitive to blank lines in the file. I have the
following code in my .erb file

<% if weights.empty? then -%><% real_servers.each do |real_server| -%>
real=<%= real_server %>:<%= port %> gate

high cpu usage samba 4 AD
Hi,
First of all thanks for your answer, today has increased cpu usage,
only change is add a new group with 3500 users, It could be the
problem?
a last question, now we only have one dc, no replication.
If we add another dc will increase performance and will be a
loadbalance the load?
Now I can't upgrade to 4.7, I have to shcedule an upgrade and
make test, any suggestion or a workaround?

So, what about clustering and load balancing?
Hello world,
so, with beta2 of Dovecot 2.0 being available, what is the preferred
way to achieve load balancing and fault tolerance? As far as I can see
it, there are basically two options:
1) Use a HA shared storage, export either a cluster filesystem or NFS,
and have your dovecot servers mount that file system. Load balance
these servers (Cisco ACE, ldirectord, ...) and there you go. Overall

limit number of simultaneous lmtp deliveries ?
We have quite a few frontend mail gateways that deliver incoming
email trough our dovecot director (lmtp proxy) to the backend lmtp

Health monitoring of backend servers
Does Dovecot Director health monitoring of backend servers ?
Or is poolmon (http://www.dovecot.org/list/dovecot/2010-August/051946.html) the
best option for this?
Maybe Ldirectord?
Thanks!

HAproxy not listening to all IP address
guys,
i am trying to install HAproxy infront of my webserver.
usually my webserver listens on port 80 and since we have 5 ip address
serving 5 different sites on the same physical server the webserver
listens to all these ips and proxy the traffic to the relavent app
servers.
now the problem is if want to loadbalance i should install HAproxy on
port 80 and there lies the problem.

Asterisk + OpenSIPs Integration - Rewrite URI on Trunk Numbers of a SIP Trunk
Hello All,
I have a little complicated question about the Dial command.
I use OpenSIPs to loadbalance Asterisk Servers, and Users are registered on Asterisk servers.
Asterisk use the Reg. Contact entry to reach the UAC via the OpenSIPs server. Everything works except for trunk numbers:
For each peer on Asterisk, "Addr->IP" is IP of the Proxy and "Reg. Contact" is the IP

load balancing and failover
Hi,
A friend of mine has 2 lines of 512kbps terminated in two Linux boxes.
He now want to remove those 2 boxes and have some device which will
loadbalance the two ISPs and also have a failover arrangement. But he
has agreed to give me a chance to do it on Linux for my own
satisfication.
Is this easy to do with lartc? How do I go about it exactly? I have
very less time to do it since his
