recommended way to install source rpms?
yes, i've read the online docs and followed a link or two to find a simple way to do this, such as: http://sourceware.org/systemtap/wiki/SystemTapOnCentOS so, these days, is that the canonical way to download source rpms? now, note that i'm not arguing about whether this is a good idea. in my circumstances, i want the ability to just "yum download" source rpms so that i can

Mailing list's prefix
Do you think I'd break a lot of people's filters if I removed the prefix? :) Anyone strongly for/against removing it? It seems kind of annoying to me whenever I happen to think about it. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... However, when I booted the netinstall CD, the initial screen which asks for the type of installation did not respond to the keyboard. I was therefore forced to wait the 30-seconds for the timeout, at which point the install

I was wondering is it possible to use the ices client with more that one soundcard under Centos Linux? I only want to stream one mono audio feed to icecast, but am already using the Line input of my sound card for something else, and the mic input might be far to sensitive. mindrot.org TMDA sending multiple auto-responder spams
Hi, It is a shame I feel obliged to write this email. I sent a single email with a possible bug in it, asking if it was working in a newer release. I got 3 spam emails from mindrot.org. Two asking me to confirm, and then when I was forced to confirm I got another auto-responder spam. If I had wanted the 3rd spam I would have set "return receipt". I got this (below) auto-responder
