Monitoring power consumption
Hi all,
I would like to monitor the power consumption of my server. What I am
looking for is:
* a simple monitoring device that would measure the power consumption
of 1 server
* a way to get the consumption reading from that device to my centos
server (via usb / wlan / whatever works)
Any suggestions?
Best,
Peter

Fw: New issue, configuring 2 Vista nodes
Yes, I am aware of this. It does not affect my problem; however, I have isolated the problem to the Norton Internet Security Firewall & I am working with their Engineering group to solve it.
Cheers,
Alan

how to know when files have finished ftping? -- antair restored
Here's a thought: what about doing an lsof? If a file is still being written by ftpd it should be open for writing.

dual boot box: winxp & centos 5: impossible to restorewinxp? -- antair restored
Have you disconnected all your usb hardware before trying the repair? I've repaired my box more times than I can count and the only time I've seen lots of hdd activity is when I had some weird hardware attached.

Is it possible to synchronize locally the CR repo?
We usually synchronize all repositories in our internal network via
the third-party mirrors, but since the CR repo won't be available
there, it would

Hi All;
I have search the net and i cannot find any answers or fixes for this issue.

centos 6 (what else? :) :)
Hi all!
My thanks to the Centos team for continuing to slave away on C6
even with all the distractions!!!
Just did a test install on my eeepc 901 (on an external drive, til I'm
comfortable with it) and find that it doesn't seem to know how to talk
to the ralink 2860 wireless chipset.
A few months back I did a test install of Scientific Linux 6 and as
I recall it (I may be

Creating pdf report
I'm looking for a way to create a pdf report that contains multiple graphs on one page as well as tables (ideally with some lines below categories etc.) . I have used the pdf(filename) followed by dev.off() to date but this prints one graph per page and does not seem to have functionality for tables.
Thanks

Rsyslog5 and CentOS
Hi folks,
I am in the process of getting rsyslog 5.8.2 to work on CentOS 5.6 (both
64 and 32 bit). All that is left is getting SELinux to work with it.
Has anybody out there gone through the process of working this out and
can provide a policy file?
If not, is anyone interested in the work I will do then (is there some
place to publish those files?)?
Best regards,
Dirk
