similar to: perl PDF parser

I'm trying to install a number of perl modules, and yum gives up with perl-Sys-Filesystem, because it has a dependency of perl(:MODULE_COMPAT_5.8.8) I've tried seeing what provides it, and yum says nothing. I also see, googling, that there was a problem thread on this list in '08 with the same dependency. Anyone have a clue, or workaround? mark

I'm trying to update a workstation, and it wants to update mpeg2-utils. But that has a dependency of libmpeg2-0.5.1-3, for i386. epel doesn't have it, and I tried looking on rpmfusion.org, and I can only find a very few packages there. This is annoying. I've been trying to get motion working correctly on CentOS 6. First, there was no ffmpeg rpms. How come rpmforge.repo wants to install a whole slew of perl modules, yet if I leave rpmforge.repo out of the update process, none of the perl modules shows up?
